He gave squad players a run out that should be able to turn Coventry City over.players were given a chance to impress yet weren't able to,and yet that's the managers fault?
-
Did we win or lose? Wouldn't really know either way after reading the over dramatic replies in this thread!!
-
Yes vs arsenal but scored the rebound
-
To be fair Ralph in the week acknowledged lyanco is erratic and said that it's something they are working on.Guess it's catch 22 as without playing him he can't improve that aspect of his game, unfortunately we may have to settle for a mistake or two along the way but hopefully not costly ones
-
To be fair if long plays a simple 15 yrd pass to him last kick of the game he prob scores, also if it was Armstrong that went through on goal instead of long I guarantee he'd have got a shot away
-
Don't get the hate for Armstrong, done what Job he was given to do.put on the wing in front of jwp and gave him the protection he needed, was obvious he wasn't going to get many chances, except when long should of gave him a tap in
-
I'd argue that the situation he thought he would inherit and the scope of what he was allowed and could afford to change is massively different to what it would be if it wasnt for the financial affect of covid. He has had us playing some great football at times, really enjoyable and your right to point out he has failings but like I say at times he has been massively let down by he players at times also. Unfortunately as are club we find ourselves in a situation where we have a owner who doesn't appear to be in a position to invest heavily In the playing side so we appear to have to settle for having an imperfect manager and imperfect players.

Random Ex- Academy Player Transfer News no-one will care about...

I guess you could argue that if as u say he made it then why was he never picked up by another team in a good league? -
When we started the scouting process in regards to hiring ralph we knew full well the system and style of play that he implemented. The club obviously decided that he was the guy we wanted to go with.Im not saying he doesn't have his faults and as a whole players and staff are equally responsible for the way the last 2 seasons have gone but I would absolutely love to see him managing a team that he has been able to put together fully himself. That will only be the true judge of how successful we can be but as we know with the clubs finances that prob won't happen. In my opinion when the club and Ralph eventually part ways for whatever reason I will prob look back and say right manager, wrong time.Hope not as I like him! 😇

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

To be fair after that they do have city and Liverpool -
Have we been unlucky with ref/VAR decisions in the previous 4 games.

Thats true but there is a caveat that goes with that rule, that is that if the players arms are in an outstretched or unnatural position then regardless if it ricochet it can still be a penalty. This is what should of happened with the penalty against villa -
If we scored there is no way they were getting back into it
-
Williams for me,he can cover both
-
Hes a decent player and very much able to use both feet.dare I say but he's prob better than vokins
-
Not sure that was the main problem,Redmond missing one on one,Bertrand missing from 2 yds and a goalkeeping mistake are things Ralph cannot change
-
Afolabi has confirmed on that instagram he has left
-
246 in 434 in his career shows he is definitely a goal scorer
-
I think it’s highly unlikely we will be making ings signing permanent in jan.would be crazy to spend 20 mil on a player that will be ours at the end of the season anyway.money needs spending elsewhere
-
No as we have ings on loan and are only allowed 2 loans so very unrealistic
-
Just looking back at page one, where has the poster exit2 gone???
-
Yes sheffield united.glasgow rangers too
-
I would argue that he doesn’t want to come that badly if this is the case
