  1. Klopp talking about Saints - "We (i.e.Southampton) can play football, but if not we can play long balls - that's what they do. They want to play football and if not they have Pelle."
  2. Well I've been ****ing mine off for nearly 25 years.
  3. Failed totally to match their intensity second half. They were out on the pitch early and up for it. We weren't. On the substitutions, I can understand JRod. Leicester were taking a risk by playing a very high line and they dont seem to have much pace at the back. A ball over or through them might have worked. Trouble was we couldn't get hold of the ball in midfield and the Davis/Clasie sub made it worse. When you're forced to play back to the keeper and have to rely on KD's distribution the ball's only ever going to come back again. Impressed with Leicester second half.
  4. "I was interested, but after that there was also the Greece job - and I made a mistake," said the Italian. Certainly did Claudio. Losing at home to the Faroe Islands.
  5. I've driven to Liverpool twice in the past 6 months and parked in a temporary car park in the City Centre both times and paid the "Scally" £3.50 on each occasion and it was perfectly fine. Even got a Saints sticker on the back.
  6. Yeah stfu with your moaning you miserable *****.
  7. He mentioned them. "Maybe, if they had one penalty we had two penalties...." - Koeman.
  8. He was awful. I've explained why I think that. Just add that we got 5 bookings to their 3. That didn't reflect the play in my opinion. Their's a lot of pressure on refs and generally thye do well but this one seemed to yield to the pressure of the home crowd and to Mourinho's constant carping about being hard done by. He was better second half. I'll give him that.
  9. Fair enough but I'm not really sure what you mean. If it looked a penanlty in real time and the ref went to blow the whistle and changed his mind why is that good reffing? If he wasn't looking at the penalty area when a corner was being taken then he should have been. Wher else should he look? (maybe he was watching Chelsea fans playing up near the corner flag). And what about that corner quadrant rubbish.
  10. Sums it up. The whistle indecision and corner quadrant nonsense suggest a weak referee. Mourinho got to him.
  11. Commentator on MoTD Bournemouth v Watford referring to Artur B@llocks. Or am I hearing what I want to hear?
  12. Disappointed not to have kept a clean sheet against that load of rubbish.
  13. Agree, though the Daily Mail, for what it's worth, is saying Terry will play. I think they will stick with Zouma. If they don't, then get pace in and around Terry and Cahill as they won't cope. I'm guessing they'll drop Ivanovic. It's an interesting one tactically given what happened in the corresponding fixture last season. Difficult decisions for both managers and it may be that tactical changes will need to be made early during the game.
  14. Anyone notice how weather girls go a few months before they're up the duff? I used to blame Micheal Fish but he's long gone and it's still happening.
  15. Pochettino's system was much more flexible than Koeman's. Playing from positions rather than out of a good organisation. The front four interchanged constantly. So called sideways passing was a consequence of Pochettino putting a premium on possession.

    MOTD

I love MotD. It's an institution. Been watching it my whole life.
  17. Oh well, thats what £200 million get you, by a pip and a squeak. Outstanding Rodgers, outstanding.
  18. Lovren getting stretchered off.
  19. Mane 2-0

    Van Dijk

Cheers Whitey. Personally I prefer pig climber, a kind of German version of sheep sh@gger.

    Van Dijk

Disagree with all of this. I see virtually all of our matches and in my opinion Yoshida is error prone, even when at CB. His howler on Sunday changed everything. Confidence visibly drained and the defence sat deeper and deeper ceding space for the likes of Rooney, Mata and Schweinstieger (sic. can't be arsed to look it up). It was not an appalling performance by the whole team. For the majority of the first half they all played very well and were well on top. Pelle in particular had a fine game.
  22. First time I've seen them live and enjoyed watching. Hesketh stood out. He's very slight. Is he the lad that got taken out by a Burnley player? Big gap between that and first team but technique and passing was really impressive, much more so than Reading.

Was Soares bought when we were still expecting Clyne to stay or am I imagining that?
