Good points, well argued. And an increase in capacity to 40k may be a reasonable figure bur even that is a significant risk.

Danny, if you insist on taking the ****, stay off important issues. COYR! Thanks !!!

Cortese's out to get Saints in the Premier League. Why would he waste valuable time and energy trying to sink a charity?
-
I think it won't be like the Forest game. Watford didn't look up to much when they were on the box last weekend. I expect Watford will attempt to close us down, try to nick a goal and be happy if they get a draw. Hope we hammer them to make up for last night.
-
Ah, that would be why then. I can safely put the word out. Cheers.
-
I hope our confidence about securing a ticket isn't misplaced. Although I got a ticket on the most recent occasion we played there I recall having not been able to get one on a previous occasion, could have been our first season down, even with a membership.
-
If anyone can get the best out of what's left in Beattie it's Adkins but as someone above noted, the fact that it's now in the Echo probably means it isn't going to happen.

Cortese kisses and makes up with the Sun

Actions speak louder than words and so far he's delivered. I'd prefer a more inclusive approach to former players and managers though. It was good to have MLT with us in the Kingsland on Saturday but it didn't seem quite right somehow. -
It would be interesting to understand how it came to be that Southampton St Mary's prevailed to become Southampton FC and why Freemantle faded into obscurity. A little odd that a bloke called Shirley played for Freemantle. Upon reflection, maybe a good thing they disappeared.
-
This success pre-dates Portsmouth FC. Was this when our rivals were Freemantle?
-
I'd like to draw them but at their place. I pass the Emirates twice a day on my way to and from work and impressive though it isI won't set foot in the place until Saints go there.
-
There's a UI article on it. Seems the Police are considering it.
-
So "Dagenham and Redbridge" go top. Take that Monkey Boy. A pleasant surprise to see MLT and his family in the Kingsland today.
-
He blames the players, blames the ref, turns on the interviewer and still manages to link himself with Kenny Dalglish. He comes across as a loser. Contrast with Adkins' positivity.
-
It did go past season ticket holders on the two most recent occasions we played down there. I know because I went to both and I wasn't a season ticket holder.
-
Sounds like he's down to his last marble. I agree with one thing he says though.
-
More by luck than judgement. And you forgot the spitting. How grown men can stand on a footbridge and spit on people below, including women and children, just because the team they follow lost a football match is beyond me.
-
We have emerged from the depths of League 1. Having made an initial impact other teams will now study how Saints play and work out strategies to beat us. There will definitely be some bus parking at St Mary's but we're used to that.

Ipswich 2 - 5 Southampton - post match fapping session

What a rollercoaster. Followed it on that BBC text update thing. Ain't doing that again. Nearly gave me a heart attack. -
Buster Crabbe....or was it Buzzard Crabbe or Bustard Crabbe?
-
Saints had Crouch and Poke.
-
Surprisingly so. I got tickets for both and I wasn't a season ticket holder though I think I had membership.

I thought N'Guessan had a loan spell at S****horpe. In any event when he signed N'Guessan, Adkins was quoted as saying he'd been tracking him for two years. He hadn't worked with Chaplow but again had been tracking him. Chaplow - "Nigel showed a bit of interest while he was S****horpe manager. When he got the move down here I was hopeful that he’d still maybe try and get me down." By matey from Reading i guess you mean Bignall, a player that I can't recall ever having made an appearance. So add Cork and Forte to those above and Adkins had either worked with or had been tracking for some time all of them except Bignall, an emergency one month loan signing.
-
I hope it does work out and thanks for the crumb of support. I don't know what he did at Scun thorpe. I think he knows Cork, Sharpe, Forte. Think I'll shut the fk up in future. Anyway I'm off to bed. All the best.

I haven't jumped to any conclusions. I've just made an observation.
