Yeh of course, let's all panic! Sack the manager NOW! We haven't had a new one now for, let me see, all of 3 or 4 months. And of course the managerial merry-go-round has proven to be a great success for us over recent seasons. While we're at it let's start booing the performances, that'll help the lads' confidence. Anyone got any good new Lowe out chants we can give a try? For god's sake give the guy a chance, he's working with an incredibly thin squad and virtually no money. Let's face it the defence is currently no worse than the start of last season and at least the green shoots of hope are visible elsewhere.

I know a friend of Ian, Shaun and Bradley's from SE London who talks to them regularly. He told me earlier in the year that he'd spoken to Bradley about what had happened and told him what an idiot he'd been. Bradley admitted that he had been a prat and that he should never have been there, but denied that he had been involved in any stealing as he'd been joking with other people while standing near the door at the time. From what I've heard this seems to have been bourne out by the evidence. I don't often get on my high horse but I'm willing to bet that most of those who are willing to jump to conclusions about this case have done stuff they'd rather they haven't at some point in the past. Give the abuse a rest. Get on with supporting the team, including BWP. Getting on his back if he plays aint gonna help anyone.

Give it a rest! Yeh I'm one of the posters that has welcomed the new direction since Lowe appointed JP, but as has already been said one win out of three hardly vindicates Lowe. If we're in a better position both financially and in the league come the end of the season I will give him all the praise he deserves.

Seeing as how this thread has degenerated into talk about managers that departed this club many moons ago, I imagine that said meeting failed to materialise?

I seem to remember Lowe saying when he got back behind the helm that the plan was to stop getting in loanees when we had perfectly good young players at the club already. He seemed to indicate that it was stupid giving experience to other teams young players when we could be doing it for our own instead. Can't be arsed to sort through the old news items on the OS but I'm sure you'll find that's the idea.

I think the problem is mate that you are undoubtedly one of the most negative people I have ever come across, and coming from someone who is well known amongst his family and friends as a right old sourpuss that is saying something! I haven't seen any abusive posts by you but do think your sunny disposition is always likely to lead to you receiving a bit of needle and would imagine that you are hardly surprised by the reaction. No I wasn't there either and as such I can't comment on the performance. I'm proud that our young team went to the F.A. Cup finalists on the first day of the season and ran them close. Yes I have a few worries about the team but I don't think today is the day to harp on about them. I hope that getting that first game out of the way will stand the young'uns in good stead and that we will move forwards. I don't think we will truly know what the season has in store until we've got through the first 10 games.
