  1. Crikey, also QPR in talks with Inter over signing Júlio César! Not exactly young but that would be a signing.
  2. Never been too sure about him TBH. Always seemed a bit of a Damian Duff to me, one footed and over reliant on pace. Not a bad player but I think we could do with someone more technically gifted.
  3. Anyway, thought it would have been posted on here already but it would seem WHU have had a bid of £10.75m accepted by Wolves for Jarvis.
  4. I'm incontinent anyway so I wet everything not just the bed.
  5. And here we go again. Seconds out round 2.
  6. makes sense mate, but it can be done. I'd be surprised if that article was linked more than ten pages back. Doesn't take that long to skim. Also if the article is dated yesterday and comes from a very well known UK source chances are it was dealt with yesterday.
  7. As I thought. I know it's hard to keep up with but surely don't bother posting any links that we already may have done to death. Check it first or don't bother.
  8. This the same article that was linked yesterday or a new take on why it's off?
  9. After yesterday and in a bid to aid the mods, I'm going to attempt to ignore anyone hypothesising about this sort of thing. Guessing what's going on with the transfers etc can be fun but when people claim things about our own club of which they have absolutely no proof then they probably don't deserve a response. I'd be be worried if it was our whole budget, but we just don't know how much the club are willing to spend.
  10. I was very impressed as well. Having said that let's not go overboard, it wasn't a MOM performance or world class, but on the whole showed great composure and positional sense, seems to have a good engine too. I actually thought at the time that he had a better game that Morgan. Having watched some of the match again and the MOTD2 highlights I still believe this. I know others thought Morgan had a good game, in fact I think Chez says so on this thread, but I think that considering he is our most defensive midfielder he made some pretty basic errors. If you still have access to the highlights watch the build up to the shot where Silva hits the bar. He's the closest player to Silva from the moment City put together a nice bit of one touch football on our left flank. As they attack down the left Silva busts a gut to get in the box. Morgan tracks him at a leisurely jog and even slows down as Silva does so on the edge of the box. This would have been a moment that he should have realised 'I should be marking him'. Silva then moves again, Morgan speeds up but still makes no attempt to get goal side or mark Silva who's got between the defenders and he ends up with a free shot at goal. That's the sort of very sloppy play that needs sorting ASAP.
  11. Lol, good point. Still believe it tho.
  12. Lol, was thinking the same. Would hope a journo would know basic punctuation tho. This one makes me nervous though. Someone out of retirement? Someone from the past? Maybe we need a list of strikers that don't score and has beens.
  13. Hmm, but if you're gonna treat us and we're gonna act like naughty school children, maybe you need to make one or two of us sit on the naughty step more often.
  14. Although looking at the YouTube video highlights he's not a patch on Ramirez
  15. Lucky for us you weren't on duty last night then eh?
  16. Think you an me might be the only ones who can see that name.
  17. Thought Reeves played very well against Palace in the cup, pity he was playing off Forte that evening. In fact I seem to remember he was much better than JWP that evening.
  18. Thought he'd tended to be a bit of a mistake waiting to happen whenever he's played for Everton. Good record prior tho I believe.
  19. Seeing as we're all trying to get this back on track and the name keeps getting ignored on the Ramirez thread how about El Kaddouri? Two separate Italian sources mentioned on the Ramirez thread have now quoted this name. I know he's been linked with Liverpool, Juve and Arsenal, before anyone decides to point this out.
  20. If you read my earlier posts you should find it easy enough to understand. There are others on here that can get across similar concerns without relying on melodrama, it's not even just the almost constant negativity. Like I said, if you don't believe you are ever melodramatic then you either do not self moderate or just don't care. You also have a habit of name calling without anyone having started it yet you consistently maintain that you rarely start it. Maybe you get in so many of these bleedin arguments that you forget which threads people have started giving you abuse on and just end up doing it everywhere without thinking. Anyway as you said, back on topic
  21. Maybe Sibley or whoever's seeing the mistress tonight. Anyone know what Jose's up to this evening?
  22. I'm not completely disagreeing with you, I've posted comments before which have stated that unfortunately the good points he makes are often swamped in all the crap that he fleshes it out with. Yes, I know we can ignore those who annoy us but then we just see stuff in quotes. I'm a pretty easy going chap on the whole but it gets my goat. It's alright to have mods on here telling us all to shut up but really? The problem is that people who drag the forum down consistently go without moderation or warnings. Maybe it's the fact that it's hard to ban someone that's paid a fiver for the privilege of posting but IMHO this sort of rubbish will only stop if someone is more proactive in policing it.
  23. Christ what is this, a fight or a love in?
  24. Is that aimed at me or others? Do you ever re-read your own posts? If you do and can't see a problem you're a lost cause. I'll admit, several times I've been riled about a match or something and I've started a ranting or moaning post. However I tend to read my posts as I'm writing them and usually can see what a **** I'm being before I hit the post button.
