Been painfully honest that JRod isn't match sharp since the start of the season. I know he needs to play to gain it but personally think he should have started in the u21s. Can't understand why Juanmi can't get a start when he's looked lively, intelligent and sharp in all of the cameos I've seen of him so far.
First thing I agree with you on. Has looked intelligent and energetic when I've seen him so far, which is more than can be said for much of our play this season.
Don't think Fonte's doing too bad but he's the only one playing in the same position as last season. Caulker seems to have a knack of getting himself out of position and leaving Fonte exposed.
I'm more disappointed with Wanyama than anything else. Now is the time for him to step up to the plate as the main man and he just looks like a headless chicken. Poor decision making, poor passing and poor shooting.
Obviously I can't comment on the performance as I'm away on holiday, but we have got the same points total after two matches as last season. Way too early to panic or to judge new players.
Surely all bed-wetting is unnecessary? Or maybe you have different rules in your house?
I still think it's premature to be overly concerned with the new players, some of them will take time to settle in and it's a long season. I'm more concerned that we seem intent on playing Davis in a midfield two. For me it was the balance of the team that was wrong and that's Koeman's area. Attacking mids not tracking back enough doesn't help but I expect no less of Tadic, never seems to want to make a tackle.
His name is Maya, Maya Yoshida
He plays for the Saints as a defender

For Yoshidaaaa
It's all the same.
To the tune of Copacabana by Barry Manilow. No? Thought not!
