Second half promise has petered out much like the first half. Hopefully we get an end of half flurry from Saints again.
-
TBH I thought he looked sharp and pressed well. Was good in possession but wasn't as involved as Redmond. Saints only really played the first 15 mins and then the last 5. Austin finished well but looked generally untidy and failed to hold the ball up very well. Youngsters looking bright 2nd half.

I dare say if they'd wanted all the idiots from on here they'd have tried something earlier. Tbh I'm just glad I found Bearsy again. This place ain't fun without him.
-
What is entirely your point? I'd be happy if you can show me where the Sammy Lee thing was publicised before Jack posted it.
-
That is your opinion, not necessarily fact. I was under the impression that he was the first to mention the alleged rift with Sammy Lee. Now while I've not seen any 100% reliable confirmation of this, a friend I trust was given the same info on the same day Jack posted on Sotonians. The fact that early on Lee was confirmed as staying on at the club lends credence to this rumour.

I'm not saying he is ITK but I'd say his timing indicates he may be. Les spoke about this ages ago, not yesterday. Anyway, I'm not going to discredit posters that have done nothing to deserve it. I'll give the benefit of the doubt until a poster gives reason for me to do otherwise. I'll also take what is said by anyone on here with a pinch of salt. People stating Schitt is not ITK are making assumptions which in my opinion are unfair. I'm unsurprised at Crabby's response as he has form for discrediting those that contradict his view of the board, but I don't know you from Adam so can't comment on what your beef might be.
-
You'd have to say the timing of Steven Davis' contract extension lends some credence to the guy's ITK credentials.
-
And you know that it hasn't because?
-
Why the grumpy face Alps. Two top teams, Liverpool who will be improved, but who we finished higher than this season, Stoke who had a mixed season and two promoted sides. Not bad all told.
-
Cracking finish from Pelle there. Played well apart from the miss.
-
Not surprising you say that, given your well known view of those running the club. Not saying you couldn't be right, although some info I got today backs some of it up, including the Sammy Lee thing.

Saints announce Virgin Media as new main club sponsor
mulletsaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Unless we have an all red kit or one with a large central panel, I'd suggest it'll either need a big white area around it (not necessarily rectangle), or they'll use a black version of the logo. Can't see it would have enough stand-out to keep them happy otherwise. -
Made me laugh. But at least one Evertonian's willing to wait and see before going all Billy Big ********.
-
VVD is the player Stones might be one day and he still isn't anywhere near his peak. I'll give you Lukaku over Pelle although they both blow hot and cold. Still not convinced over Barkley. His predilection for giving the ball away in dangerous areas is a real problem. We have a better keeper, better left back, better centrebacks, (had) better CM in Wanyama, I'd take Mane over most of your attacking players any day.
-
We are undoubtedly a better run club and more successful at the moment and that makes it an odd decision in my opinion. There's also no doubt that Everton have a more glittering history and with the right infrastructure and funding could be huge once again. Might not be a quick fix though and the plight of Newcastle, Aston Villa and Leeds should serve as a lesson to Everton fans that size of club and history have nothing to do with how you perform in the present.

Well done mate, good on you. My mother-in-law sadly passed away with cancer earlier this year and now one of my nieces has Leukemia, so Cancer Research please.

I'm aware you're just having a bit of fun seeing how many of us you can manage to bait, but I'd wait to see how Moshiri's money pans out before you get too carried away. As many others have said on here, there have been plenty of other rich investors getting involved in English football clubs and it doesn't always end rosily. See Newcastle, Aston Villa, Pompey, QPR etc.
-
I think that maybe you're going a bit far the other way, but given all of the info available I'd suggest you're closer to the mark. The true ITKs on here have indicated for some time that the powers that be at the club aren't impressed with all of Koeman's methods and if he was unwilling to sign a contract extension I'd imagine they just decided to make the change a year early. Surely it's possible for no one in this situation to be acting like a ****?
-
I think it'll be Howe and he'll have a remit from Les to wedge as many academy graduates in the first team as possible. The club will push the boat out in trying to tempt back Chambers, Ox and Theo in an attempt to make it happen.
-
After the sugar rush he'd be even worse than usual, if that's possible.
-
TBH apart from Emery I'm very underwhelmed by that list. Why any club in this country is still considering touching AVB with a barge pole is beyond me.

K.Billy: "5 players want to leave this Summer"
mulletsaint replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Why? Juanmi, Pelle and Wanyama we were all pretty odds on to leave. While most of us wanted Mane to stay I'd imagine the majority of us thought he'd want out if he got a decent offer. So the only 'surprise' there is Tadic and while he can be amazing for us, he is also one of our most frustrating players. -
Kelv's son takes a mean pen himself.

BBC were saying match will have to take place after the cup final.
