Doesn't look like we struggled to bring in two of the three players we're supposedly after does it? Maybe the level of player we're going for with the last one means it'll be a bit harder to pull off. TBH I watched the Swansea match the other night and thought Bony looked a bit lost overall and got lucky with his second goal. However, I suppose a lot of being a good striker is being in the right place at the right time, even when you're not contributing a huge amount to the team as a whole.

While you and others underestimate how difficult it is to bring in quality players. Either that or you're on a wind-up, now let me guess... Anyway, just because we haven't signed anyone for a while doesn't mean we have been 'inactive'. I doubt the relevant member of staff are all sitting at their desks playing solitaire.

Personally I think he's way to greedy, doesn't work hard enough and doesn't link up play well enough to fit in with our style of play. I know he's a proven goal scorer but I think we need someone who'd fit in better.

As I said, they've yet to sign Quagliarella, which puts them in a similar boat to us. They have decided they need another striker and have identified one they'd like to sign. From the reports it would appear we've done the same. Many of Norwich's purchases look good on paper, as do ours. The only way to know who's signings have been best will be to wait until the window's over and they've all had a decent run in the side. I'm not saying we shouldn't have a debate, but some posters seem more interested in getting a reaction by going over the top and forming definite conclusions before it's too early to do so.

I'll ignore the bit in bold for now. I agree with the rest and would also add that from what little I know, they are also attempting to get the Academy right up there with the best. I have a friend who's kid has been at Charlton for years. He's got a number of clubs after him including Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Norwich. He said that along with ourselves and Spurs, Norwich are really trying to get the kids playing the right way. They're also trying to tempt youngsters from other areas by offering them boarding and a place at a private school from year seven or eight.

Me neither. And anyone tempted by Bet365 don't bother. Unless I'm doing something wrong the biggest stream I can get is about a third of the screen width.
