Very droll. I'll be re-using 'Never Mind The Boruc' again this season. Can't go wrong with a bit of music based player name punnery.
-
What I was attempting to say was that after the ****e start to the summer things looked up with the appointment of Koeman and the two signings you mention, but with the bad taste of Lovren throwing his toys out of the pram, the sale of Chambers and then yesterday's events, coupled with the fact that even if we hadn't sold anyone this season we'd have needed a few reinforcements, it's unsurprising that this has had a mixed reaction. If he'd have been signed at the same time as Tadic and Pelle he'd probably be getting a better reception. We'll need a few more in the door before I and many others on here are happy, not to mention reassured that what the board are saying is anything but waffle to appease the fans. Oh and one other thing, does anyone else think that if Bertrand had been our first choice replacement for Shaw we'd have just bought him outright? It's not like we're taking a punt on someone with no Premier League experience where's there's a reasonable element of risk involved is it?

As I said to the other bloke, I'm talking about after what's been going on since.
-
Stop being a ****, I think most of us have had the wind taken out of our sails since those two were signed. At that point with Koeman appointed I'd say most fans were hopeful for the new season. It's all the crap that's been going on since that has got many of us down again.
-
Unfortunately he's suffering from being the first one in the door after the ****e summer we've had so far. It would have had to be someone pretty bloody tasty to have prevented this kind of reaction.
-
yeah but the new owners are the ones that'll have to worry about that
-
Hmmm. Not a bad 'signing', but after all the ****e I was hoping for something better to be brutally honest.
-
Your OP seemed to be talking about lies from the club not Kruger specifically.
-
I'm pretty sure Turks has freely admitted he comes on here for a wind up, but then again maybe that was a wind up. I'll wait and see what's happened come the end of the window, but you have to admit things ain't looking rosy. We should have at least got a few more replacements sorted before we agreed to sell and today's events look amateurish in the extreme.
-
I'd imagine you've seen the other thread by now but if not just have an explore. BTW, saying Chambers was ill the other night looks a bit like a lie to me.
-
Probably wouldn't feel it…

Any hole's a goal.

Didn't think we did loans? Gonna be one of those Arsenal numpties innit?
-
Quality. First thing on here for a few days to make me laugh.
-
My head hurts. Can someone wake me up when all of this is over?
-
I definitely think that all of this has gone to pot due to the lack of the Monkey Chicken Petting Zoo. Maybe that's why Kat got ****ed at Cortese. He spunked all of the MCPZ budget on that flash bog of his.
-
Maybe we need to have an ITK sweepstake. Who will turn out to be closest to the truth? tell you what, all give me a fiver and I'll sort out the rest.
-
The possible gains against outlay for buying a club with our infrastructure in League 1, were surely much more attractive than buying us now for an inflated price and a dwindling first team squad.
-
Maybe just the method that those controlling the purse strings have of ensuring that we don't reinvest much of the transfer kitty.
-
My thoughts exactly and how's what you know different?
-
TBH it's always easy to bash someone that puts their head above the parapet like this, but you only have to read back though Crabbie's posts to see that he's been banging on about this for some time. It does all seem rather prophetic.
-
Fat chance. Said he'd never come back in that interview he gave after he left. Besides he'd need another billionaire's money to play with.
-
Saw this headline and article on news now earlier and thought at last! Maybe these are the two Erwin supposedly said were close, then I realised it was a couple of loans for Arsene's cast offs. No thanks. Southampton finally hit back with DOUBLE swoop after Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal raids www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/391371/Southampton-finally-hit-back-with-DOUBLE-swoop-after-Liverpool-Man-Utd-and-Arsenal-raids

think he might need to start dishing out real smileys, if you know what I mean

Your reasonings are all sound when they are taken in isolation, but when it's half the starting line up being sold and as yet few replacements, it's hardly out of order for us to be a tad worried. Even if we end up getting in quality replacements for all of those being sold, getting them all to bed in could lead to us flirting seriously with relegation this season.
