The Radio London commentor is gash.
-
I love how these threads becoming adverts for Saints Player, then all I see on match threads are people complaining about it!
-
This.
-
Rather ungrateful.
-
Special mention to Danny Butterfield, he played brilliantly and i'm sure he was on the ball for most of the second half.
-
This is definately the most happy thread I have ever read on here!
-
It was slightly tongue in cheek, but considering who we have turned out over the past few years, we are certainly up there with the very best. And yes, i'm sure he will get a lot out of the 'Arsenal experience', but nothing can beat regular, first team football...
-
If this is the case then I withdraw my comment. Yet I will still be disappointed- if the lad (or his father) had any sense he would stay until the summer, instead of rotting in the reserves. I don't think Walcott faired so well initially when he hastily made his move. Besides, we are the best in the world at developing young talent.
-
Would be very disappointed if he left this month, and I for one would think less of him, especially in the light of his 'play or pay' comment.
-
Whats your opinion?
-
Why some people on here hope that we lose, or put out the reserves just baffles me. I hope we give them a really good game and put out our strongest 11. Bar promotion, this will probably be the highlight of our season, so everyone, please lighten up and just enjoy it.
-
It is slightly concerning that bad form seems to coincide with the loss of only one player. I hope this is coincidence only. However, the knee-jerk reactions by certain posters on this thread should actually be made illegal.

You really are the most unpleasant person I have had the pleasure of not meeting.

Le Tissier Snubbed ticket for United game ?

I pains me to see stories like this, considering I hold both men in such high regard... -
Don't really understand why we are still talking about this.
-
I can appreciate your view, and would probably also place myself in the 'youngster' category. However bear in mind that having only really been a fan since the later part of 2003, and haven't had much to cheer about at all.
-
I think some people need to perhaps look at the broader picture. I support Southampton Football Club and spend my money on them because I hope they can repay me with great football matches and lasting memories. Whatever the result, I believe that this game falls into that category. If you spend all of your time stressing about potentially negative, but still insignificant and hypothetical consequences, I believe you are jeopardising your overall enjoyment of being a fan. Besides, if we do lose the next game, there are a potential 1001 reasons why because ultimately we are the Saints.
-
Wise words indeed.
-
I'm pretty sure you've said this on numerous occasions before we have scored, is it a lucky charm?
-
It does real very strange. I declared myself a Saints fan at the start of our last season in the prem, and I have had precious little to cheer about until recently. In fact from that point, I have only really witnessed a long and painful decline that was increasingly evident after our playoff loss. Now however we have money behind us, a sound structure and a very good manager. To be in such a strong league position is completely alien to me... Damn, another nose bleed.

The yellow with blue sash that is.
-
just about to say the above, I think that would look very good.

time to let this one go now I think.
