He has been pretty fair in his analysis of us this season, and he has watched us enough times to have an informed opinion. I would therefore suggest that if he said we were playing bad, then we actually were.

Agree with A and C especially. We play a lot of fancy football that essentially gets us nowhere. I think we need to bring someone in who can run at defenders with pace. Cork and Schneiderlin in particular just aren't cut out for this. Playing the simple square pass is just about the limit of Hammond's ability. Lallana is the only player who is both capable and willing attack the opposition defence. Without him, we really haven't got the answers.

I think it is scary that you referred to Adkins as 'Burley mark II' before he correctly changed things and turned the game around. My god if you were in charge of our club we would have management change every six months. You, Alpine, have always been the quickest on this forum to get on the back of any manager, unfairly so in this case and a fair few others. There are two possible reasons for this: 1. You are stupid 2. These aren't in fact your actual opinions, yet you voice them anyway purely to gain as much attention as possible. The creation of this thread tends to suggest to me that it is in fact the second reason.

I think 'standard practice' needs to be revised a tad.

Thought they were appalling today. Preferred to focus in on player's faces when there were important passages of play, and pointlessly changed the angle on numerous occasions when the usual broadcast position would have been much better. Give me itv any day of the week.
