  1. Good businessman? Evidence please.
  2. Some people are easily impressed. It beggars belief, it really does.
  3. I need more metal. Recommendations please. In the last year or so I would recommend: Down - Over The Under Death Angel - Killing Season Exodus - The Atrocity Exhibition Bonded By Blood - Feed The Beast Gama Bomb - Citizen Brain Municipal Waste - The Art Of Partying Machine Head - The Blackening Testament - The Formation Of Damnation Megadeth - United Abominations Growing on me is Metallica's Death Magnetic. Not keen on the latest Opeth, Arch Enemy, Meshuggah or Children Of Bodom efforts.
  4. Also it is clear that the reason why so many strikers from tiny footballing nations are in the top 20 is because they come from countries with a small pool of players, so they get lots of games against lots of sh*t opposition. Rocket science, it isn't.
  5. I agree that he's done well, but he certainly isn't in the same league as some of the top European strikers - his stats don't really mean anything by comparison. Stern John, together with Ali Daei, Bashar Abdullah, Hossam Hassan, Majed Abdullah, Kiatisuk Senamuang, Hussain Saeed Mohammed, Kazuyoshi Miura, Bum-Kun Cha and Adnan Al Talyani comprise half of the top 20 international goal scorers by country - how many of those do you think are truly world class? Stern John, despite how well he has done and despite his impressive international statistics, is not a world footballing great. P.S. I have actually travelled quite extensively in Central America by the way, so perhaps you are not "more versed on the subject", who knows?
  6. Oh so avoiding administration is now seen as an achievement is it? Not that he did anything other than cut costs, which any old miser could do. As I said, have you seen the table?
  7. It is growing on me, but I don't think it is anywhere near as good as the efforts in the last year from other old school thrash legends Death Angel (Killing Season) and Exodus (The Atrocity Exhibition). Still, I can't wait to see them again on Monday.
  8. True story.
  9. Very very dull. Where's my stanley knife?
  10. I am merely trying to make these pikeys feel better and am somewhat surprised I am not being thanked for making them realise it isn't so bad after all.
  11. Now who is being the patronising tw*t eh?
  12. I don't disagree with that Colin, it is merely the scale of disappointment that amazes me. I can understand disappointment, and indeed I too would be disappointed, but crying about it and saying dreams have been shattered (even though most will get their money back and be able to rebook at a later date) etc.. I don't understand that at all and find it rather pathetic.
  13. Bore off hypochondriac, dullard.
  14. Oh do shut up Colin. Poshie's dream holiday is still happening, don't take that comment out of context. More generally, not going away for a week is not the end of the world, it really isn't.
  15. "Dreams have been shattered" "Indescribable" etc... This proves my point - drama queen pikeys. A bit of inconvenience is all that has happened here isn't it? Holiday still happening yes? This is nothing compared to those who lost their jobs. Your dream week away in Turkey was in danger of being moved to another week (which in actual fact it hasn't)? Whoop de doo. Also, I guess it does help to be able to fly first class and stay in top notch hotels anywhere, thanks for reminding me, but please do get a grip and wake up to reality.
  16. People apparently rate him for his financial management ability - I don't.
  17. I still think he's a horrible over-rated tw*t. Patronising comments, pathetic statements and incompetence will be flowing some time soon, you can be sure of that. PS have you seen the table recently?
  18. Dennis Wise is a horrible dwarf tw*t.
  19. "The outstanding achievement of Theo Walcott is within the grasp of many of Saints' current squad, according to head coach Jan Poortvliet." Hmm, yes I can see many of our squad going on to score hat-tricks for England. The smart money is on Chris Perry or Rudi Skacel. Of course, they're also all good enough to play for Arsenal.
  20. Ok, let me spell my point out. I would have more time for John's statistics if he played for a minor team which regularly plays decent teams. European players do play decent teams as well as sh*t. T*T do not. I agree it would be an achievement for a minor team player to be a genuinely world class striker, but I challenge you to name one. Also, Crete is not a country. You may as well add the Isle Of Wight to your list.
  21. You are assuming 100% was the given effort in the previous game though. If more was possible it wouldn't have been 100%.
  22. You could say the same about the best striker in Eastleigh's history - it wouldn't make him a club football great.
  23. Your husband has big plums? Quelle surprise.
  24. Yes, indeed, the stats says that most of his goals were against the likes of footballing giants like Guatemala, Honduras, Antigua, Martinique, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Bermuda and Wales. Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player, but an international goal scoring football great, he is not (no matter where he is on the list of international goalscorers), you patronising tw*t.
  25. Why is it all union reps are northerners?
