  1. They have, but won't put their names to it. Longshot is on target.
  2. Don't be daft. I need to know if the source is trustworthy before I post but you don't. If the sources are revealed they will run for cover.
  3. Read Longshot's thread, he is close to the action.
  4. I have no problem with Lowe and finances, but he is according to people in the club, influencing selection/non selection and training, that is madness.
  5. What? like the double training sessions and Clive Woodward says they can handle it, response to opposition.
  6. I have a trusted source in the British Embassy in Berlin who confirmed this to me on July 18th. My information is that Lowe won't allow Skacel to be picked and that he was only sub the other night as we were down to the bare bones.
  7. Better when wide, but doesn't seem to be able to hit a cows arse with a banjo.
  8. It's going to be alright:smt023
  9. Huffton has obviously heard the same criticisms that I have. I just wanted to check if others have similar sources.
  10. You've obviously heard the same rumours. (see my thread)
  11. The two centrebacks played square, neither dropped off to give cover, the last fullback didn't drop in to cover. Defenders let the ball bounce too many times, instead of attacking it. No marking at set pieces. What was the header back across goal about. Our free kicks were just gifts to the Watford defence. All their free kicks and corners into the six yd box were dangerous. We didn't win the ball and they won the knockdowns. We never won the second ball anywhere. When is Kelvin Davis going to take charge of the six yd box, clear our defenders out and punch or catch the ball. Instead of just standing on the line. Opponents are causing us problems because they know this. McGoldrick runs in at 45 degrees and scuffs the replayed Coventry penalty, like me the Watford keeper knew where it was going. Surman should be given the job for the rest of the season.
  12. Unless the rules have changed it is 90 days. Has to stay overnight which counts as one day. If he flies in, in the morning at 0730 and flies back 12 hours later it doesn't count.
  13. This whole issue is absolute hogwash. People aren't going anymore, primarily because of the utterly drab football last season. I believe we are four to five thousand season tickets down on last season. Rupert Lowe has little significance. A small number of diehard anti Lowe agitators make a lot of noise, but it is the same few. Secondary effects are the economy, the tv results, results in general. If we continue in the same vein with respect to results, then the attendance won't improve. Unless we go on an unbeaten run, move right up the table, play attractive football and win convincingly on tv there will be no change. If Lowe and Wilde leave and nothing else changes crowds will still be the same.
  14. So you don't rate our most talented player. Lallana.
  15. Last years football and performances are probably the last straw for many people. I know a wealthy corporate sponsor that just walked away. All round me in block 5, people that were season ticket holders have just disappeared. Some of them I know just had enough.
  16. I think you might get 32,200 in to see that.
  17. Going forward IF we have men wide. Defending is left to the back four. We are pretty indisciplined defending. We have to learn to defend as a team and get behind the ball quickly. In other words defend from the front. Oh, and cut out this bloody arm in the air crap, appealing for offside, play to the whistle FFS.
  18. Interesting comment. Seems to be managing his business pretty well.
  19. It's amazing to me that so many have so little understanding of teamwork and support play that only the right back is the obvious problem. The big problem is the wide player wandering off and badly exposing our right side. Against Coventry it stretched our back four and left Mills isolated as the last man on our far post. Where were the two holding midfielders and the wide left to help him out. Our teamplay without the ball is inadequate and our discipline non- existent. Strikers playing in wide positions is not the problem, Babb and McKenzie aren't wingers but they were wide and cut us to pieces. Our wide men didn't play there, reducing our width in attack and worse exposing our defence to counter attack wide, stretching our back four and leaving our midfield stranded behind the attack, unable to get back and support.
  20. Leon Crouch's company paid him £2.435m last year. So where does that place him in relation to the present SLH directors?
  21. No wonder you know what's going on Ron.
  22. Or which is more likely, we were down to the bare bones cover wise, so I was told on the night.
  23. I would play McGoldrick RM as well, but insist he plays wide and out to in, rather than wandering inside all the time, narrowing our attacks, making us easier to defend against and most importantly exposing our right side to counter attacks.
  24. At least somebody has a sense of humour. LOL.
