  1. A pretty good synopsis, drawing on logic, together with what some on here know and the sources they came from, this is just about the situation.
  2. You may have a point there.
  3. All I was told, was that he was told by Lowe he was first choice. Nobody would put a guaranteed place in a players contract.
  4. It seems last night he was attempting to get out to crosses. His biggest weakness was set pieces from wide positions. Staying on the line caused the defence to back onto him, making us vulnerable. If he can keep the defence out and have the room to claim or punch crosses in the goal area it will make a big difference. Fair play to him if he is trying to do this.
  5. Davis has been told he can leave if an offer comes in for him, despite the fact he wants to stay.
  6. Nobody said Lowe picked the team. What was said was that Skacel wouldn't be picked and McGoldrick was sure of his place. I know where this information came from within the club. Also that a la SCW, double training sessions were brought in. Not by the coaches I understand. It may be that the emerging threat of demonstrations and the information being publicised caused a rethink. We know Wilde posts on here at times. I thought Alpine's post was spot on.
  7. You may well be right, I think anybody reading the threads on here should get the drift. Once it had been publicised it caused a problem. By picking Skacel and leaving McGoldrick out, could well have been done in an attempt to prove the threads wrong. As usual, obvious.
  8. One was a free kick, McGoldrick heading it back across goal for the header to score. Bloody shame he can't do it at the other end.
  9. Could be the fact it was publicised. Together with the sounds of revolution growing.

    Skacel starts!

It is probably that this has come out, that, along with performances has brought a bit of realism. Skacel if fit should always be playing. Sounds like he had good game.
  11. Second yellow, good battling result. Davis came for some crosses.
  12. When you see the tactical deficiencies of most of the players, who have been allegedly coached since 8 year olds, it does make one wonder about the coaching. Wide players playing narrow, inability to defend in depth, ie always square, players like McGoldrick who can't even strike the ball cleanly with his good foot, allowing the ball to bounce when defending, inability to compete and jump and head the ball, covering, marking players by standing off, it goes on and on.
  13. Nearly there, if the two players left up, hug both touchlines, it either leaves one on one, or the opposition have to leave at least three and possibly four defenders back, to avoid being exploited. It also needs the quickest players left up. Always of course if/when the defenders win the ball they welly it wide and get out quick.
  14. Davis needs to force his defenders out further, and come out and punch or catch the crosses fired into our goal area.
  15. They would possibly invest, but the dictatorial environment on 6% of the shares means nobody in their right mind would want to invest their money. It seems the present shareholders wouldn't sponsor a rights issue or sell up without strings at an unrealistic price. The shares really have no value, as the club surely has a negative value. The asset value at present market rates against debts and liabilities makes us a poor investment. The cost of a complete takeover is unrealistic. That is why it hasn't happened and looks more unlikely in the future.
  16. That is what I heard, it's the reason for thread, I just wanted to cross reference with other sources.
  17. It's not on Daily Echo or the official site. Sounds very unlikely.
  18. 2 sessions a day?
  19. Believe what you like. It is happening. SCW quoted in self justification regarding training. Skacel has said unless he went to Ipswich, RL told him he would never play for us again. Hertha wanted him, I have a source in Berlin who told me the club's demands scuppered the move. McGoldrick hasn't been substituted and is picked every game no matter how he plays.
  20. They know he won't come.
  21. You are right about Barclays, getting sticky there I think. You are wrong about the training and the team.
  22. This thread has pretty much confirmed what's going on, because of the identity of the posters there is more than interference. It sounds that policy has been dictated. The Skacel issue seems to be pretty much clarified, we are not allowed to play him. The McGoldrick rumour appears to have substance. How is the overdraft fairing in all this? I've heard the bank isn't happy any more. Unless there is internal investment, and we know where that isn't going to come from, there will definitely be players going.
  23. Apologies, memory playing tricks, straight after the Lions tour.
  24. Didn't SCW join the club straight after the Rugby World Cup. DoF later.
  25. Decisions, he will/won't play, employees do as they are told.
