  1. Only 95% of those that voted. It looks like Crouch etc didn't vote.
  2. Why don't they get together and make an offer for the shares? Lowe and Wilde etc speak for less than 50%. If everybody else sold to them they could take over the club.
  3. Small print says refunds are at the club's discretion.
  4. I've got loads of money and no shares. I really don't give a rats arse, I think it's a shame the disenfranchised shareholders don't have the wit to start something to give them a say..
  5. To work, it would need to be totally divorced from any previous organisation and be purely for shareholders collectively, to manage their holdings by referendum.
  6. If a ticket is surrendered, the club are obliged to pay the balance of games outstanding at the average price per game. This is in fact what they do. I would take them to the small claims court if they refused.
  7. This business of games close together is rubbish, at one time games were played on consecutive days and sometimes as many as 3 in 5 days. With a heavy ball and on mudheap pitches. If they were winning they wouldn't be tired. The team is set up all wrong, the published system is not being played anyway, the players are playing off the cuff and the management haven't got a clue.
  8. If every season ticket holder that is not happy with the board took his/her ticket back and demanded a refund it would finish Lowe.
  9. Start a shareholders co-operative to manage small or even larger holdings.
  10. As we both know Ron, a major part of the problem is a misuse of resources on the pitch. I have come to the conclusion that the coaching staff haven't a bloody clue. This playing staff could perform 100% better if the manager and coaches had any idea what makes a team efficient. Backwards and forwards in the middle of the field doesn't cut it.
  11. Not the quickest but very clever, once saw him lift the ball over the full back, run outside the pitch, and back on, carry on with the ball. That was in the days when wide players knew how to play wide! and only needed one touch to control the ball. It has to be John Sydenham, the quickest player by a long way ever to play for Saints.

  14. Obviously you can't read, my criticisms are the same as Armstrong's, Wingers coming inside, launching crosses on the 45, never getting behind the defence. The slowest player on the field picked in the hole, McGoldrick still picked. The team needs to change it's tactics The fact Lallana is missing is irrelevant, Perry and BWP missing is bizarre. This certainly isn't the team I would have picked. I would have played last weeks back four, Cork and Surman in the middle, BWP wide right with Holmes wide left and give Euell and Paterson a go up front. If arguably the best player in the world feels he can play most of the game right on the touchline and be lethal doing it, surely our fourth raters could at least do the same.

  16. That it is why he is unlikely to make changes. I think we are now in a spiral from a results point of view. I wouldn't be surprised if going down has already been factored in as a consequence and they will ride out criticism.

  18. I think maybe the time has come to really make it impossible for Wilde and Lowe to appear at St Mary's. The team selections and tactics are bizarre. We just aren't going to wiin enough games. Any demonstrations would have little material effect on the team or results as they are losing anyway. Until a more balanced team and effective tactics are used we haven't a prayer.

  20. McGoldrick hasn't scored in 10 games, BWP has our only three goals in the last 7 games and is left out again. In 1959/60 we won the league, hardly made a change, travelled by train or coach, played on mudheap, no grass pitches. The players had no problem. Our team, play on lawns, are pampered, allegedly far fitter then old time players, play with a light ball they can't kick, injured regularly, play fewer games each, they are taking the pi**.

  22. David Armstrong slaughtered the team, tactics and management. Then Will Cope asks the most bland and irrelevant questions and gets the usual we did well, the ref got it wrong, etc etc. FFS ask relevant questions, we don't want to hear any more of this crap.
  23. David Armstrong was very critical of today's performance. "The players have to take a long hard look at themselves, square pegs in round holes, wingers in who never go outside for the byeline, always cutting in or crossing from 25 yds out, easy for the defence, beaten by a poor team. It has to be recognised that the players can't play and don't believe in the system, Jan has to stop this utopian system". TiaJuana Tim on saying the same thing. This team is no longer playing the pass and move football from the start of the season. Looking at the players omitted today, has there been a bust up? McGoldrick now ten games without scoring is a shoe in. BWP with 3 goals in recent games omitted. Portvleit is IMO a prat.
  24. Nearly. Gillett Gobern midfield Surman behind McGoldrick.
  25. James Cork Lancashire Skacel. Gobern Gillett. Smith Surman McGoldrick Holmes.
