  1. It means Crouch is the only solution, (a no brainer-obvious), not what you thought.
  2. The only job in SFC that Lowe has any competence is financial. He's a bloody banker FFS, he has no training/background in running anything to do with people, except the years he financially manipulated the football club and alienated most of the population of Hampshire with the exception of Portsmouth.
  3. FFS Crouch is a no brainer as Chairman.
  4. Howmany penalties have we missed this season? 3? How many free kicks have we scored? 0 How many tap ins pretty close to 0
  5. Maybe they did or knew sombody who has.
  6. He's got to be better than anybody we've got up front at the moment. He looked good for Sheff Utd and Swansea.
  7. Clever snide comment, The 10 managers who left weren't treated shabbily either 'despite weeks to prove themselves'
  8. I don't think he meant 'unpleasant'. More like unfortunate.
  9. I've looked in the OS archive and can't find anything, it was in the Echo, just the bare facts, as for van de Waals, there has been nothing, the only unmasking was on here. Funny business and no joke, you really couldn't make it up.
  10. There was a statement somewhere that he was on gardening leave.
  11. I was thinking similar things myself, I don't see this unholy alliance as anything but a marriage of convenience, uneasily tenuous at the best. The present situation must be putting it under pressure. If there is a big demonstration, a poor performance, and a big kickoff on the 31st that will add more pressure.
  12. Thanks, I wonder if there is any difference of opinion between Wilde and Lowe, and whether Wilde is getting concerned about the state of the experiment and the public opposition beginnining to take shape.
  13. I wonder though Ron, what he is doing if anything behind the scenes, to be ready in the event of circumstances getting out of control.
  14. Wilde's shares are the key to the kingdom. Whoever has them rules SLH.
  15. Seem to remember the Dutch were involved there too. Look how long that lasted.
  16. The Echo says the press conference is to introduce Wotte to the media.
  17. Could Crouch have had talks with Barclays about alternatives to administration.
  18. Has anything changed you know of, since Fri?
  19. Hi Bill, Ron, I've read your postings, allegedly Fulthorpe was at SMS this morning. I'm not sure what's going on. Duncan thinks things are happening next week, what, he wouldn't say. Crouch there yesterday, could be a red herring, there was a closed doors match. Likely that someone was in today, due to the Svennson announcement. As for Crouch, as of yesterday lunchtime he was still status quo, As for selling, we have over 4000 shareholders, 40ish with about 81%, 4000ish with 19%. It would need a lucrative offer to get the ball rolling. Pie in the sky, maybe Lowe and co want out and are looking for a buyer for their 36%ish.
  20. What % of the club do you own, are you one of the 4000?
  21. Without The Lowe axis wanting to sell, despite a minority stake the club is impossible to buy. Because, about 40 shareholders, the majority unnamed, own 81% approx, the remaining 19% is owned by nearly 4000 shareholders. I believe, having observed the viciousness of the fighting and protests at the Doncaster game that this is just the start. I think the games are going to be a nightmare from now on. This demonstration is I think just the start, the small shareholders are stirring, and nearly everybody involved in football in Southampton wants Lowe to go. If I was Lowe, I'd be asking myself do I need to live like this.
  22. Remind me again why Portvliet said he resigned!!
  23. Wotte has got a Pro Licence, that doesn't mean he's any good. The fact Svennson maybe hasn't could be a plus, we might get some common sense. The club has had a preponderence of qualified coaches and none of the prats could see we had no width in attack, no shape in the team, why the defence was porous, the players never tried hard to get goalside, what was a players natural side, and no threat from set pieces. The common denominator, no common sense, football is a simple game.
  24. If Lowe has anything to do with Crouch now it's the height of expediency, trying to take himself out of the firing line and Crouch out of a shareholders alliance if one flares up. Talking of sayings, one comes to mind. "White man speak with forked tongue"
  25. I doubt it also. I wonder was there an exchange of views. Up to now all the interviews/announcements on football have come from Lowe. Hardly needs a press conference Monday, what's to announce?
