  1. I did my A levels during those weeks. Seems such a long time ago. Not many under 60 will remember it.
  2. Saints fans on the radio tend not to be the sharpest knives in the drawer in my experience.
  3. We’re the equivalent of Carolina Panthers. Watching Lions v Bills atm.
  4. Don t be silly, he’s not anywhere near good enough to get in that team, nor any of these other clowns.
  5. Maybe Ted Lasso? He’d do a better job. As for Ecco the fucking Dolphin?
  6. Dolphins and Texans on for the second half.
  7. Everything guaranteed to go against us this weekend. So Saintsy!
  8. Agent O'Neil! Too many connections down the M27 for my liking!
  9. Sadly 26/05/24 was when this became inevitable.
  10. Mohamed Salah scored twice to win a chaotic game where Southampton held the lead only for errors to cost them This is what the Guardian online thinks. Can't argue with that!
  11. And I daresay with Claude Puel in there as well.
  12. SR/Dragan said that they would never make the mistakes of a couple seasons ago again. Hmmm!
  13. Great stuff. What’s your positive take on this one? For me it’s a free hit.
  14. Not getting a huge amount of pre match coverage on Sky.
  15. Where’s Russ’s mate Giowhatshisface? He’s all over this place like a bad rash on matchdays. Not a peep so far.
  16. Probably be too windy for him to use his height.
  17. 2012/13 first season back. Nige's team on Pard's return 25/11/12. Gazzaniga, Clyne, Yoshida, Fonte, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Ramirez, Cork, Lallana, Puncheon, Lambert. How do we reckon that team stands up net to our current lot?
  18. 1968. Wow I was still in primary school in North Baddesley, well by October 68 we were in the new junior School.
  19. I heard he was singing this. 'I am a linesman at Notts County' I used to drive to Maine Road Searching in the sun for another overload. I hear you singing in the wire. I can hear you thru the wine And the Wichita Lineman Is still on the lines.
  20. My wife needed palliative care from the beginning of November 2021 after she had surgery in hospital in Carmarthen when on holiday. Guess what? NHS Wales and NHS England have systems which don’t speak to each other so the hospital had to take things at face value and operate whereas it was the last thing she needed. Had they been able to access her patient record they’d have realised that non surgical intervention was more appropriate and would have allowed her to restart chemotherapy which was impossible with an open wound. While the palliative care was very good It only kicked in three days befores she died so yes, yes, yes palliative care needs to be so much better.
  21. No of course not. She was your wonderful wife, you had signed up for the duration and you were privileged to have spent your last days together looking after her. No selfishness there, all that reflects my experience. To be fair, I think if the option of an assisted end had been there my wife would have taken it if it weren't for our daughter's wedding the following Spring. Sadly she didn't make that. Please take care.
