MIlestone reached today Portsmouth's maximum possible points tally - 65 points

More interesting is the fact that they have repeatedly not filed accounts. The next promised date for this is immediately after the end of the season and I think they may have suffered a financial penalty from Companies House to do this. A cynic would possibly think that this is slightly more than a coincidence?

Pompey's demise leads to SFC promotion

Feb 92. Beating Man U on pens at Old trafford. We went 0-2 up which I missed as I got to the game late and they pulled back to all square in the last 10 or so minutes. The best bit though for me was after hearing what sounded like the whole ground signing "always look on the bright side" at 2-2 was us signing it back to them as they streamed out of the ground. 4-5 at Norwich was a corker too especially as I was in with my Norwich supporting neighbours (at the time)

Enlighten me then please....

I am not absolutely sure of the years but I did briefly read on a skate forum a summary of the dates when they had gone into admin "Portsmouth - The Administration Years. 1976, 1988, 1998, 2010 and now 2012". Not a bad track record. Certainly Administration Champions League pedigree. This shows that the club has been wrong to the core values for many many years On a seperate point (from Wiki) some facts from last time showing that these things can and do drag on - "HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) filed a winding-up petition against Portsmouth at the High Court in London on 23 December 2009.[16] In March 2010, this winding-up petition was dropped,[17] leaving Portsmouth with a nine-point penalty for entering administration.[18]"

I am at times vocal in my criticism of Guly. When a pass bounces off him to an opposition player, when he seems to be out of position making little effort to cover and (most frustratingly for me) when a good cross comes in and he rises to meet the ball and it glances off to go tamely wide are some examples. Why shouldn't I criticise? Would you have that we all sit tamely clapping and pointing out the good? It sounds a bit under 8's to me. Nothing wrong with a bit of passion and desire ffs

Might have been posted before but a thread on a skate forum is headed "CSI - Cheap Skates Inc" eithout any hint or recognition of any irony. Made me smile

If we dont take the chance when we have it then who is to say that next year or the year after will be as things are now. Will the team lose its core and togetherness. Will our ambitious manager leave for pastures new? Will our ambitious Chairman take action that disgruntles the fan base? Will the losing run that we go on (to miss out on promotion) make the support become disaffected. Keep the momentum, keep the team spirit, keep the support building and take promotion. There is a tide in the lives of men which, if taken at its flood, leads to fortune.

Call me a pedant but Posh would be 19, Brighton 20, Bpool 21, Hull 22, Palace 23, Brizzle 24, Leicester 25 and Cardiff would be 26 and a new record

Best of luck to him. If anyone on here knows or hears of anything which might help bring the guilty to justice I hope they will do the right thing

Control FreaK? Dont know the man but the business needs someone with drive and a vision and he will be in charge until it fails or he hands the reins on to someone else. I dont have a problem going along with someone who has demonstrated he has what it takes to make the club more successful than it was when he arrived.
