  1. Norwich capacity 27220. Season ticket sales last season capped at 21883 with 1718 on waiting list. 80.4% of capacity sold as season tickets.
  2. I missed the last 9 of those
  3. Why mate? You not going?
  4. Prefer... E I E I E I O Down the footbal league you go When you're liquidated This is what we'll sing...
  5. I wonder what this is likely to equate to in terms of total turnover - match day income, cup runs, sponsorship, merchandising etc. £70m - £80m? If that is the case and if we have a wage to income ratio of, say, 70% wages will be around £50m?? Or am I talking out of my arris?
  6. I am a bit scared of commenting on this thread as the pro and con sides have firmly drawn their battle lines and, whatever is said, will not shift or deviate. Too much pride at stake to see an alternative point of view... However - the effect on the corporate take up should be considered seperately in my view. The drop off here from premiership to championship was very large and quite often over the last few years the corporate section has been largely empty (as have the boxes). I know of many companies that dropped this from their entertainment rota. It would be expected that this will now be an attractive ticket for corporate entertainment. I dont know the capacity of this "section" or indeed the relative percentage sales for the rest of the stadium for the last 5 years but it may be worth taking into account. Anyway - never mind sense or analysis. Back to dogma.
  7. Didn't the club (or Adkins actually) state that it would be evolution not revolution? Wouldn't it be reasonable to expect this to be applied to all facets of the club and it's operation?
  8. Sounds as if you could have been our ML if you had taken different decisions!!! Not sure about Status Quo though. Dont think they would ever have made you rich;)
  9. If creditors vote for liquidation they will get a small percentage but at least they will get this in a defined timescale. If they accept a proposal they will be promised more but this will be dependent on a variety of events happening as forecast. Of course if these do not come to pass then they may find they receive less than the liquidated amount after a longer wait. Just like last time. The promise of an additional sum doesnt mean that creditors wont vote for liquidation.
  10. Will anything be decided at this meeting or is it just to review progress and report back to creditors?
  11. More importantly for me is that when one of the central mids tires we wont have to bring Guly on in that role. Gives us a bit more depth
  12. Without being rude? Almost always a precursor for being exactly that. I'm sort of hoping that you're not older than 13? Yep. I am. Another of life's hopes shattered eh? You have some serious issues? Maybe you do know me - or are you in the astrology business? Yes I have my fair share - dislike of Claridge and skates are not amongst them though. Have a think...? You are clearly a professional. I havent been patronised so nicely for a long time. Do I hold them all with the same distain? No actually. Claridge and a number of others - yes. All of them - no. One of the more knowledgeable pundits.. He tells it like it is.. He is actually getting (probably very well) paid to express an unbiased opinion. Are you sure that his personal views are reflected in his professional persona? from what I have heard he is very supportive of the skates and has tried to distance himself from this in order that it doesnt prevent his progression as a pundit. I dont know you and I am pretty sure you dont know me so you have made a summary assessment of me ("imo") based on around 100 words on an internet forum. To be fair though you have done the same with "Steve" unless you know him personally of course in which case I sincerely apologise. I havent any time for the skates, their football club or their supporters just as they dont have any time for us. I have been subject to abuse by them both physical and verbal and have grown tired of meeting strangers from portsmouth who immediately call me a "scummer". I dont put up with it any more. F**k the dirty skate bast***s.
  13. What is wrong with you people??? Knowledgable?? He's a f***ing skate. Remember the Millwall game when he scored and turned round pointing to his name on the back of his shirt? skate. The BBC commentators description of his reaction when they equalised at theirs? Went mental apparently. skate I saw the programme and he did have trouble conceding that we had almost done enough. skate Wouldn't expect anything else - f***ing skate c**t
  14. Is this true? They would need both to vote in favour?
  15. Actually the explanation to me was that Atletico Madrid (his team) took up the red and white after having a strip given to them by SFC and that Athletic Bilbao later adopted the same strip
  16. We had a spanish student staying with us who was a big atletico fan and who was very aware or the origins of their current colours. I think that perhaps we could foster a "special relationship" with them (and Charlie Miller's Brazil)?
  17. Actually, it wasn't.
  18. Won't these kick in next season now? Starting in L1 on -17 would be amusing and possibly help them find a buyer as the perceived value would be lower making it less of a punt and more affordable for more people
  19. 55. Born in Southampton. Living in Highfield. First games in the East Stand at the Dell with my dear old Dad and a wooden box to stand on. I was about 7 and a regular attendee and fan ever since holding a season ticket for quite a while even through the difficult years. Still have my "Lowe Out" badge on my coat:) Not been as much as I would have liked over the last two years due to *ahem* financial difficulties. Many many fantastic days and nights
  20. So = Chanrai can afford to offer £17m for it and then do what he wishes. He would get his own money back and then be in absolute control of the asset
  21. Bet you dont say that very often
