i have now discovered its probably the oil pressure switch thats leaking. do you think this is the sort of thing that picador's or halfords would stock. supposedly it is a cheap part and only a 5 minute job to change!!!

cheers ponty for that, but i cant really wait for it to be delivered, need to get it sorted asap will probably have to bite the bullet and take an early trip to halfords tomorrow.

the other halfs corsa has developed an oil leak from the top of the engine. it appear to be some sort of sensor,and only leaks when the engine is running, its an 03 corsa, 1.0 12v engine. any idea where i can find out what the piece is that is leaking, i dont want to get ripped off at a garage if it is something i can do myself, and dont want to pay £20 for a haynes manual if i can help it. i have tried to have a look online to see if there are any sites that would do an engine breakdown but could not find any. thanks in advance!
