its a vw van and we also have a vauxhall car, it wont play in either. how would i find out what type of file they are and more importantly, how can i fix it so i can play them ????

I am trying to burn some music from itunes onto a cd (its a cd-rw). it apears to burn ok but will not play on the cd player in my van or car. i just get an error display. i have tried to reduce the burn speed to 12x, which is what it says on the discs, but it still wont play.. any ideas ?????? thanks in advance

I have some how managed to lose loads of music and some photos from my pc. is there any specialist music/photo recovery software about or will it just be data recovery software ???? i have seen some data recovery software on line that is freeware... is this any good?? or is it better to pay for it?? it is only the music and photos that i am concerened about, i have not lost any critical files, so i am really looking for a music/photo recovery if such a thing exists.. bought the daughter a new packard bell net book for christmas. it has a trial version of Norton on it that keeps popping up!! i use AVG on the desktop and have not had any problems. the question is do i just pay and get the full version of Norton or risk buggering it up by trying to uninstall it and installing some other anti virus?????
