It takes a while, I was online at 0910 and actually got the tickets about 30-40 mins later.

Why is it people on here insist on jumping down peoples throats? I voiced my opinion that is all and it has nothing to do with not reading ticket announcements properly. I made a statement of fact that the club has withdrawn telephone tickets sales for away games only, that in my opinion is very restrictive for people who like me do not live in Southampton. There will be some people who do not have internet access at all and others who cannot access it at work. You can still buy home tickets over the phone!

Totally agree, just rung up to try to buy a ticket and apparently now you cannot buy away tickets over the phone, how ****ing ridiculous is that. I don't live in Southampton so am now restricted to buying over the internet. Stuck in the queue-it system at 669. Why is our football club so sh1t at tickets sales?

If you can't get tickets in the Saints section you can get tickets via the Fulham website in the 'neutral' area, that is what I did for last seasons game.

'We're the Itchen, we're the Itchen, we're the Itchen over here........................... 'We're the ALL SAINTS MEMORIAL STAND, we're the ALL SAINTS MEMORIAL STAND, we're the ALL SAINTS MEMORIAL STAND over here. Will take some getting used to... -

Inhabitants of Portsea Island, Portsmouth FC and #factless Neil Allen, the gifts that just keep giving.

No, just my observation on some posters who only seem able to demean people for posting an observation. It seems that if you are not a member of the clique of uber fans your posts are ignored or ridiculed. Oh well at least I only have one more post for today.
-
Typical **** dished out by the usual suspects who seem unable to respond in a decenct manner to the OP who was merely making an observation about his 'match day experience'. Not everyone can be über fans as some appear to be on here. If you don't have anything meaning to contribute toa particular thread why demean a fellow Saints fan just to boost your post count. SAD LONELY ***TS!

Isn't the donkey still injured?

Just as well you don't watch the blue few then, they must get that at every home game!

Skates exploiting people who are on Job Seekers Allowance As for Portsmouth... "The club, which is now owned by its fans, told its local paper last month that it had 35 people working six and a half hours a day, amounting to a total of 3,000 hours of "painting and maintenance and general cleaning". If the jobseekers refused they would have their benefits stripped." http://www.boycottworkfare.org/?p=2913 Boycott Workfare can reveal some of them are using workfare to avoid paying staff at all. Portsmouth FC, which went into administration following relegation, bankruptcy and debts of millions, is now owned by the fans in the shape of the Portsmouth Supporters Trust. Ironically one of its sponsors is ‘Jobsite.co.uk‘. The club is open about its use of workfare through the Mandatory Work Activity (MWA) scheme, telling a local paper: “So far there have been 35 people working here over the past six weeks .They’re contracted to do 6.5 hours a day and since they’ve been here, for the past six weeks they’ve done more than 3,000 hours of painting and maintenance and general cleaning. It’s incredible. Some of the painting we would do every year, but we’re painting things that haven’t seen a lick of paint in maybe 25 years” The general up keep and maintenance of the club is done by people forced to work for free under threat of losing their barely subsistence benefits for a minimum of 3 months, and up to 3 years. Turns out the self-proclaimed ‘community club’ are more than happy to exploit the local unemployed community by using them to do jobs – without wages. By doing workfare at Portsmouth FC, the unemployed are effectively being used to pay off the club’s debts.

Top, top player. Remember driving to Wrexham from Portsmouth with a mate of mine to watch England play Wales, just had to make the trip as Armstrong along with Shilton and Wright were in the team. Did not get back into the dockyard and onboard until about 6am the next day as we broke down on the M6..... happy days! All worthwhile to watch an England win and with 3 Saints players in the team.

Why would Shaw go to one of the 'big' clubs now? He would be understudy to Evra and manure and Cole at Chelski. Currently he is first choice at Saints, playing regularly, enjoying his football and has just signed a 5 year deal. IF he did not want to be here he would not have signed that deal. We would all be naive to think that at some stage he may well move on but for now the best place for him and the England national set up is at St Marys where he can learn his trade and play regular first team football. I am sure this story will be rehashed again and again between now and Sept 2nd, usual lazy hacks trying to fill column inches with stories of 'which of the so called lesser clubs have good young talent that the 'big' clubs can just come along and buy'.
-
Thanks for that. Shirt no 11 is free so that is my guess.
-
Yep, agreed with that and that is just where we are atm. IF we want to step up then there would be several other players who would not make the grade of a top 6 PL team. Really don't the Fox 'hate' on here, it is quite laughable at times.
-
Was also interesting to see that he not really 'celebrate' his goals with the blue few who were there. Also notable that he did not go over and applaud them at the end either. It must really grate with the few that their top goalscorer was one of ours not so long ago. Without him they would be bottom of the league. Can #factless allen go all season with post match reports detailing DC's goalscoring feats and not mention that his last club was Southampton? You bet the bitter, clueless idiot can!
-
That's the pompey way, init mush!!!

Saints near the bottom for players signed, any cause to panic?
Saint Lindford replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Couldn't care less about that sort of 'league' table, it is the at the end of May that counts. Blunderland were always going to sign a shed load of players, Di Canio pretty much rubbished the squad when he came in last season. We don't need to sign a load of players as we have a very much settled squad with a good level of quality, the key was to add some improved quality to it in certain areas which we have done so. There will I am sure be at least one more if not two signings before the end of the month. -
Tours cancelled, shop closed!!!!!.. maybe the skates were right and our mega debt has been called in and we have been declared bankrupt. Ah well, it was good whilst it lasted.
-
None of those is a solid arguement to back up your claim that Fulham are a more attractive or bigger club than Saints.
-
Why? and Why?
-
Oh great, if only I had stayed in for another 13 years I could have been going to one of world football's greatest arenas that will be packed to the rafters and 10's of thousands locked out. C'est la vie. Will have to watch the paint dry instead.

Every one is a 'Cup Final'.........PMSL. A member of the deluded blue few!! Amazing, Last season`s average gates in L2: Plymouth..............7,042 (they were third highest after Rotherham 7.954 & Bradford 10,322) The difficulty will be that for many teams visiting FP they will be lifted by the atmosphere. Bradford had a similar problem look how many years it has taken them to get out of League Two.
-
The delusion just continues, this from one of their boards. However I reckon that every other club looking at their fixtures will be anticipating the fixture against us. FA Cup winners 5 years ago, FA Cup finalists 3 years ago.....that's gotta excite them.
