  1. It is always unbearable for visiting fans going to that shed. The droning of their fans with ner, ner, ner, ner, ner and TCWAB and the idiots who try to play musical instruments I expect drive many away fans to despair. I am sure the meeting they had last year to try to create new songs was a great success and all the song sheets have been distributed in their ten's to create this 'new wall of noise'. They truly are desperate.
  2. What to be sick?
  3. Omens are there, City in the League Cup Final. Last that happened they won it in 1976 and I wonder who won the FA Cup that year? :-)
  4. Agreed but IF LS wants to improve as a player he is in the right place and I think he has already come out and said that. Rodwell is prime example of a good young talent who has wasted his chance by not playing. Barkley at Everton is another one for the future and thankfully he now has a good manager who will play him and hopefully keep him at Everton where he will get his chance.
  5. Yes we could take the money and sign a decent replacement and a couple of other players with £30m. However, IF City do come in with a bid there are two things to take into consideration, a) don't think NC would accept it and b) not sure that LS wants to leave anyway. He is first choice and playing week in, week out for a top 10 PL side atm and is getting the international recognition because of it, IF he goes to City or any of the other top 4 he arguably would not be playing all the time so potentially harming his international chances and development.
  6. I did have to laugh at the deluded skate on 606 last night saying they took 4000+ to Oxford. Must have been one hell of a rush to get the extra tickets then as on Wednesday they were struggling to sell more than 2000. Maybe it was a last minute thing and a big walk up of away fans or was he talking bo££ocks as the few usually do. Oh well WTFILN.
  7. Can't even sell their allocation for Oxford on Saturday. Bestest fans - Bullsheet.
  8. Another head in sand moment from the blue few..... This is in reference to the BBC story about Bolton being £163m in debt. find it hard to believe mr gartside when he says it is all down to relegation, mmm you still have parachute payments, so the losses shouldnt be huge, unless your still paying a massive squad on daft wages, in which case its not down to relegation, its down to poor housekeeping It is the last little bit that had me spraying my tea over my keyboard! Just priceless!
  9. 3000 I think
  10. Did that for last seasons game and was great, you just have to register with the Fulham website.
  11. Truely cringe worthy listening to that. Champagne Ian talking about Jervis not being paid and not able to sign and then whining about having to pay players circa £7m who have not been at the club for years, well it is only what they are owed as they were NOT PAID by Portsmouth FC several times! The old chestnut about teams raising their game when they play at Fatpipes Park, do they really still believe that Portsmyth? Really came across as a small time charlie trying to play a big boys game.
  12. Couple of snipets from the BBC this morning. Caretaker manager Andy Awford led off his Pompey players to a chorus of boos after their fifth straight defeat. The bestest fans in the world, surely not! Havant & Waterlooville manager Lee Bradbury has emerged as a contender for the Portsmouth job after Guy Whittingham was sacked.
  13. The ticket office seem to be using cut and paste as I received almost the exact same response yesterday to e-mail I sent the ticket office asking about away allocations etc. The last part of the reply to my e-mail was regarding the Loyalty Points scheme... Regarding Loyalty Points, we can advise that this is currently in development, as soon as we have any further information this will be advertised on our website. Blimey, how long does the development of a simple scheme take?
  14. Well IF he is that good then why isn't he going on loan to a Championship club? I mean he has just had a very successful loan spell at that hot bed of football Colchester!!
  15. Surely Chelsea are our nearest rivals now, not only in distance but League position.
  16. It's now 4-0
  17. Sky Sports News surely telling lies, reporter says the bestest fans in the world are all heading for the exits!! Can't be true they never leave early or boo their own
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24942307 They sure are!!! LOL The club added: "Any supporter who is proven to be involved in any such incidents will face potential prosecution and a substantial ban from attending matches both away and at Fratton Park." Got to be worth owning up then!
  19. Doubt very much the fans of Barca, Porto or PSV really cared that Sir Bobby Robson did not speak their language when he was in charge at those clubs. We have a manager who has taken us, so far, to 3rd in the PL whilst playing some of the best football many of us can remember for a very long time, the fact that he chooses to do press conferences etc in his native tongue means diddly squat. Christ, if all you have to moan at is the fact that after a year our manger is not conversing with the press corps in English god help us when (and IF) we lose 4 or 5 games on the trot.
  20. Does it really matter? HMS Daring is a WARSHIP and she is being detached from exercises in the area to go to the aid of the survivors. She along with WARSHIPS from other navies are enroute, from the BBC earlier 'The US has deployed an aircraft carrier and navy ships, while the UK is sending a naval destroyer' and this from The Australian 'Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron pledged STG10 million ($A17.17 million) worth of humanitarian aid, and was deploying a Royal Navy warship and Royal Air Force military transport aircraft to help in relief efforts'.
  21. I really don't understand people's fixation with the fact that MP uses an interpreter for his press interviews. In am sure the late and great Sir Bobby Robson did not do press interviews in Dutch, Portuguese or Spanish when he managed PSV, Porto or Barca! We can see and sometimes hear that he speaks to the players in English, surely as long as he gets his point over to them, which is the most important thing, then the fact he does not do interviews in English pales into insignificance. COYRs. Remember what a cock Steve Mclaren made of himself when trying to speak 'English' press conferences in Holland and Germany! LOL
  22. You have e-mail
  23. Gutted that I can't now go so 1 x adult ticket available to the first person to post e-mail contact details here. Can't do PM's so initial contact will have to be here then via e-mail to sort out details etc. Face value of course.
