  1. Not half as embarrasing as all the empty seats in the home areas on Sunday though for your Cup Final. Bestest fans....................PMSL
  2. The inbreds who rushed down the stairs from the North Stand to stand by the gates as we left made me laugh. They reminded me of rabid dogs (no offence to rabid dogs of course) stuck in a cage and frothing at the mouth. It is for those idiots that I hope it is a long slow lingering death of the club.
  3. Will they have a team to play us on the 2nd?
  4. And they still have not sold out for Sunday................... Bestest fans??????...... PMSL http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Southampton-Tickets-Latest-2912.aspx
  5. You love to quote the David Conn article, well have a look and he explains where the 'loan' was spent. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/david-conn-inside-sport-blog/2011/nov/29/portsmouth-crisis-vladimir-antonov But just to help you out the key bit is - Akers confirmed that CSI, and Portsmouth, have been relying on millions of pounds from Antonov personally to fund the deal by which CSI bought the club. Creditors of the club's administration, who were owed up to £80m, including Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, which claims a £37m debt, must still be paid 20p in the pound over five years. Akers said Antonov had invested around £10.5m in transfer fees and players' salaries
  6. Another e-mail sent to the Football League this morning informing them of the Webchat yesterday with Lumpitt and his potential faux pas regarding the link between the skates and CSI.
  7. Having had a phone call from the Ticket Office this morning to say that I was one of 800 rejections for one reason or another try this number 02380 711912, I rang it and got call answered straight away, sorted out the issue and will pick up coach tickets on the day. To confirm, the Ticket Office will be open from 0900 on Sunday morning until about 1015. The coaches depart SMS at 1100.
  8. Not yet, was not expecting them until later in the week ot be honest. Ticket office still trying to make a dogs dinner out of the Pompey tickets I would expect so the Brighton tickets will arrive........................ oh sometime soon.
  9. Stadium bus 19 +1, if I ever get the tickets....
  10. Just the same for me. Don't live in Southampton so only opportunity to get tickets was today. Not had e-mail so thought I would ask anyway. Was told my tickets were not ready, was then told the TO would be open from 9am on the 18th to get tickets then. Seems there could be a lot of people queuing then on Sunday morning just to get coach tickets. Complete balls up all round by the ticket office IMHO.
  11. PMSL Michael Appleton has told his Pompey players to help attract a new owner. The Blues boss saw his plans for progress come to a grinding halt just two weeks into his Fratton tenure as owners Convers Sports Initiatives went into administration. However, The News understands there has already been more interest from potential buyers than there was during the entire period of administration. There is no doubt it is a positive sign, highlighting the fact the club is now a far more attractive proposition than it was previously. WTF But until there is anything more concrete than interest, Appleton knows his team have a job to do to put the Blues in the shop window. And a club pushing for promotion (dream on) – rather than battling to avoid relegation – would surely generate even more interest. He said: ‘We can only affect what happens on the field.
  12. According to the News..... YOUNGSTERS refused to leave hospital when they heard the entire Pompey squad was planning a Christmas visit. The team – plus new manager Michael Appleton – dropped in on the paediatric ward at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, to bring Christmas presents to sick and injured children. Players spent time chatting, signing Pompey shirts and photos, and even playing table football with young patients. Now what is it....... The kids said that they just had to do, after all we had to do something for those less fortunate than us...... LOL
  13. No he is not. The link to football violence is with Heysel and NOT to the other tragedies. He is wrong to use the other disasters in this context IMHO but everyone is jumping on a bandwagon that is not there.
  14. Order history on OS shows transaction done, bus 19. Woooo hoooo No e-mail yet though!!
  15. The full e-mail chain I have had over the last week or so with the FL would have taken up too much space. They are fully aware that I am talking about Pompey and their failure to investigate Antonov properly.
  16. My latest contribution to the Football Leagues inbox..... Andrew, Further to my e-mail of yesterday this article in the Guardian highlights the failings of the FAPPT. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/david-conn-inside-sport-blog/2011/nov/29/portsmouth-crisis-vladimir-antonov Key bits in there regarding Mr. Antonov include: 'In December 2007 the Financial Services Authority prohibited Snoras bank from opening a branch in Britain', (of course Snoras is the bank that Antonov was majority shareholder in!!) In 2009, the European Investment Bank refused to lend money to Saab, the Swedish car company, if Antonov was involved in its ownership. "We made it clear we would help with finance provided the ownership structure did not include Mr Antonov," an EIB spokesman. Other key issues in realtion to Portsmouth Football Club's link to their parent company include: Chris Akers confirmed that CSI, and Portsmouth, have been relying on millions of pounds from Antonov personally to fund the deal by which CSI bought the club. (Chris Akers is a junior partner in CSI so should know what he is talking about) Akers said Antonov had invested around £10.5m in transfer fees and players' salaries. (How are they going to provide the players saleries now?) It would seem that the information in the article shows that Portsmouth cannot be a solvent business concern moving forward especially as they still have the CVA to provide for and that is worth more than £80m over the next 5 years, alined to this is the claim by the HMRC that they are owed £37m in unpaid tax. Also it shows that Portsmouth and the other businesses within the CSI portfolio are inextricably linked as one economic entity Given all of the above surely the precedent sent in 2009 when Southampton Football Club's parent company, Southampton Leisure Holdings (SLH), went into administration and an independent investigation by the Football League found the club and SLH were "inextricably linked as one economic entity".Southampton were subsequently deducted 10 points. Does this mean Portsmouth will have at least 10 points deducted or could it be worse and they have a similar punishment to that given to Luton Town for financial irregularities? I note the following quote in a BBC Sport website article, "The matter will be considered by the Board of the Football League as and when all the facts surrounding the administration of the club's parent company become available," said a Football League spokesman. All of the above gives the Football League the information required and is readily available in the public domain. Now is the time for the Football League to act and show that football clubs cannot run roughshod over the rules and they (the football clubs) should take responsibility for their finances. Kind regards
  17. Yep, e-mail sent about 10 mins ago.
  18. Just like the Fratton End on a good day!!!
  19. The name Antonov seems to be being dropped like a hot potato at the moment. Not only did CSI seem to sever all links with his name on their website it nows emerges that his name was removed from the matchday programme at the Nottarf Krap 'arena' on Saturday. Dubious was named as President but their is no Chairman!!! Now why could that be??
  20. "Vladimir Aleksandrovich Antonov, you have pleaded guilty to the charges brought by this court, and it is now my duty to pass sentence. You are an habitual criminal, who accepts arrest as an occupational hazard, and presumably accepts imprisonment in the same casual manner. We therefore feel constrained to commit you to the maximum term allowed for these offences — you will go to prison for five years."
  21. Another e-mail off to the Football League. Andrew, Is this now deemed to be something that is worth looking into? http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/industries/lithuania-issues-arrest-warrant-for-russian-banker-as-troubled-bank-probe-intensifies/2011/11/23/gIQAfdc8nN_story.html Key bit in the story, 'He told LNT television that the approximate 100 million lats ($200 million) siphoned from the bank were used to increase its charter capital and finance Antonov’s investment projects — including the failed attempt to buy out Saab.' Could it be that the proof of funds shown to your legal department came from the same source? Also on the BBC as well so there is no hiding. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-15859800 Kind regards
  22. Going down.............. Going down Pompey's going down with their owner banged up.........
  23. That will be the 'new' test where the applicant provides the information and the FL Legal Department go OK then. Have already written back to the FL on that point. Trouble is I won't hold my breath on getting a decent response from them, they seem about as much use as a chocolate fire guard!!
  24. Got this response today from the FL to an e-mail I sent regarding the FAPPT that was done on Antonov. Thank you for your email. Please view our Owners and Directors’ Test available on our website here http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20110629/appendix-4_2293633_2128219. In addition please find an FAQ regarding the Owners and Directors Test which you may find useful http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/FAQ/FAQsDetail/0,,10794~2428071,00.html. Based on the information provided to The Football League’s Legal Department, Vladimir Antonov complies with the Test. Should any information to the contrary be brought to our attention then the matter will be dealt with by The League, with the club concerned, in accordance with our regulations. Thank you for contacting The Football League. Regards, Andrew Pomfret Customer Services Officer The Football League Limited
