  1. It used to take 3-5 DAYS for money to reach my UK bank account from my Swiss employers :-(
  2. Ben The Legend! Of course, should have guessed from the style!
  3. I'll believe it when I see it!
  4. Confirmed that the only sticking point is the right to appeal the 10 point deduction. No hints as to how or when this is going to be resolved though.
  5. I hope you're wrong, but think you're right :-(
  6. Maybe we'll have one of those TV talent shows to appoint a new manager! Why not, we've tried everything else!
  7. Thanks for spelling that out (I needed it). I think I have heard it all now!
  8. I don't live in the Southampton area and have never listened to Solent - how accurate does everyone think this info is? Do Solent have a good record for being correct?
  9. I had a similar problem just now - but once they put the special customer number in, it came up with David Luker and the penny seemed to drop!
  10. I agree with your sentiments but the players are merely employees of the club. Only fans will make a difference now sadly.
  11. It's shame that Crouch didn't put the "£250,000 in the next three weeks" statement into his appeal on the OS. The reality if the situation needs to be stated openly, not just alluded to. Print it on the front of tomorrow's programme FFS!
  12. The administrator gets to see the colour of their money, and in return they get to see just how red ours is!

    South Africa

I spent 2 weeks in South Africa last August and will definitely go back. We travelled the Garden Route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. We had a couple of days on safari in the Addo Elephant Park near PE, which was good, but you're never going to see the Big 5there, so if game viewing is your thing head further north (Kruger NP). If you're into whales, sharks, stunning scenery etc. the southern coast is the place to go. I recommend Plettenberg Bay and Hermanus for whale watching (has to be June-Nov though). Cape Penninsula and Table Mountain are great for scenery. We found that 2-3 days in Cape Town was plenty (and 1 day in PE - nothing much there). It's a fascinating country, although the legacy of apartheid is still very much there (there are squalid townships around most towns). Everyone we met was really welcoming, without exception.
