Big companies outside of football usually get rid of the middle men if the company isn't performing, regardless of how good or bad the directors are. So unfortunately Adkins will go, I'm sure of that now. Football is results driven, and we are not getting results. We are not even getting close, which is more worrying. Adkins, I think, is already secretly resigned to his fate, and despite all his rousing speeches, i think he has lost the players' trust.
Saggy chops looks our only option at the moment. I'm not keen, but he does know the premier league, and he would be inheriting a team that is potentially good, that just need a fresh perspective, and approach. Bring him in, and let Adkins move aside.
