Exactly I thought everyone spoke well and the panel were great and straight forward with their answers. I do think we should be a bit more upward thinking instead of being grateful to be in the league, my only issue. But then they stated the aim is to be top 10 so say that more than being grateful etc.

This all feels like it starting to have a very depressingly familiar feel to it. Who knows exactly what is going on or what the truth is but I can’t believe that SR aren’t over it. I can’t believe the season has started and we still are completely toothless upfront. Football is about scoring more goals than the opposing team. No idea where our goals are going to come from, it was our biggest priority in my opinion, I’m sure we’re in the market but bloody get it done.

All these reports read as is they can come in and just take him off us even Everton for 15 million. Not one report has mentioned he actually wants to leave or we want to sell. It’s time we shook this look, SR have said we don’t need to sell anyone, clearly we have money but don’t want to advertise it to inflate prices.

He was quoted as saying he’s very happy here and enjoying his football. I really hope this is all paper talk and we’re not looking to sell, just doesn’t make sense he’s a fantastic player.

Although I understand where we we are at financially the fact remains it is Still a wasted opportunity, the convention centre is just an example of what it could be used for to produce longer term income, I can’t imagine it is costing that much to purchase and once it’s gone it’s done. it’s just frustrating.

Wasted opportunity for the club to use this site. Convention centre badly needed in the city or other uses etc etc like we had proposed a few years back by Cortese.

And how’s he been doing then?, pretty good reports so far. So perhaps everyone shouldn’t be so quick to judge.
