Ekelund was a joy to watch with Le Tissier, i remember at the time being a liitle bewildered at what was going on but Matt's recollection is of course spot on. Such a shame it wasn't for longer.

Some common sense, we will need a bigger stadium.

Think we could easily fill a bigger ground in PL. We sold out nearly every game when there and any empty seats were I believe only because of logistics and not unable to sell seats. With our rise back to the top we are again picking up new fans and also once again igniting the spark in the young ones. I would love to see us in a nice new 45 k stadium personally, the club IS big enough for it, if the will and the money is there to build or expand.

Was disappointed when Mark Wright, Rod Wallace, Dean Richards and Gareth Bale left. Shearer yes wasprobably the most upsetting as I always thought we sold everyone too cheap. Selling MLT would of literally killed me. Looking back over the years we have had some great players.

NA is going nowhere he knows how big a club he is at and would still feel lucky to be here. In a set up that is light years aheadof most PL clubs and only getting better.

We had the best attack in the first division at the time. But things did start to go stale. Fans patience became stretched and people vocally wanted change. The bran foot era was shocking although taken too far by one fanzine on the march who made a terrible mistake with one issue. The ugly back then was great and i still have most of mine. Hard to believe so long ago.

If we are to really be ambitious we should be lookingto move to a new site with land around it to build a stadium precinct complete with leisure facilities, sports facilities, hotels and retail. Similar to what we should of had at Stoneham and was a huge lost opportunity. Closer links to airport and rail would be good as well. The club needs additional income to propel the business forward and create something really special that can compete on the biggest stage.

A massive shame either way that he is not involved.

If we want to compete and win promotion again it has to be paid for. Seriously it's understandable that people have budgets but compare costs to other larger clubs and fans need to be realistic with pricing.

Back to red and white stripes for me Saints thru and thru. Ps in Australia's A League a new team Melbourne Heart coincidentally play in red and white stripes and black away kits!!. Coincidence or not?.

Great gesture from the club wish I could be there. MLT has to be there, you couldn't do a day like this and not have him there. He is a legend of this club. Just wish all whoever they may be, would get over this petty squabbling if this is in fact the case.
