Indeed it was a bit of fun although a bit stupid to start ripping the pitch up and yes the players even got involved. If I remember correct because of that it was the last year it was allowed. It was a relief just to end that season, was devastated with shearer leaving and even then thought it was too cheap, but then we seemed to have a policy of letting our best go to cheaply.

Tom bit of a funny question as i am sure you would see many old kits at each and every game you got to. I love the new kit but still wear kits from lots of different seasons. The club wants us to buy new kits obviously to fund players, stadium etc etc, we all want success and it costs money. At the end of the day though wear whatever kit you want and wear it with pride.
