OK now that is awful. I still felt reasonably positive because I expected us to lose to Palace on Monday. This is really concerning now and relegation is looking a lot more likely. Have we just given up or what? The irritating thing is that we actually play some great stuff when we truly get going. I think this is mostly down to persisting with players who never perform (McGoldrick) and playing players like James out of position. We must be so easy to plan against because we only have one way of playing and Jan sticks to it regardless of what is happening in a game. You look forward to a game all week and then there's no point in listening after about ten minutes. Totally totally ****ed off.

I think it is obvious to everyone who has won this particular disagreement.

I see you are resorting to insults as you have clearly lost the argument. Cabbage knows more than you and has shown you up to be a fraud. I don't need an external link with "facts" to tell me that.
-
Marco you are so very very wrong. Cabbage was correct in the other topic with his shrewd points concerning the PS3 and Sony. Sony is not a loser company like you suggest. Go back to microsoftforums.com.

Top 5 best and worst player to play for saints in CCC

Guthrie anyone? -
Interesting story is that when he was younger he could have become an international cross country runner. Obviously chose football because it's better financially. He was one of the best long distance runners in the country for his age group. Clever bloke too.

Diarra will be gone, probably Defoe and Glen Johnson. Good core of your team there.
-
Neither was Derby or the first half of the Birmingham league game. People are too reactionary.

Not forgetting the laser lights for the clock

I'm not saying I agree, but to be fair it is not someone like James' fault if there is nobody to convert the chances he creates.
-
Jan desperately needs to play Euell and Morgan though. We also need to get a striker in January. That should solve some of our problems hopefully.
-
Cheers. You're one of the good ones
-
Yep. Currently our chances of relegation are worse than four teams though.
-
I bet Leicester thought the same thing as Watford and Charlton are thinking now...
-
Oh I have never for one minute thought that we are certainly safe. It's why I've written a few times now that we have a reasonable chance of survival. Even knew this season would be a struggle but as I said we are doing better than I expected.
-
Fair post. You forgot Euell as well.
-
I don't care. It's just the ridiculous negative attitude. Why did we not have as good a chance as any other team around the relegation area to stay up last season? Why do we not have as good a chance as any other team around the relegation area this season of staying up? I don't care if we stay up by 2 seconds and one goal this season, the fact is we have a reasonable chance of survival.
-
But you were wrong...
-
I'm not rising to the bait. If it makes you feel better I will apologise for making my post difficult to understand. I will go to watch saints however they play, whether we have no chance or not. That line was not an important part of my argument.
-
Were you bang on the money when you said we will definitely be relegated last season? Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
-
Our main problem is that we are very good at some things and terrible at others. It's no use being able to pass the ball around a team if you then cannot shoot the ball into the goal. The team needs to perform to a reasonable standard, not just aspects of it.
-
Erm if you read back, I think you will find that was badgerx16 and not me...
-
Exactly. We have little choice but to pray that the team is good enough to gain more points than three other teams. Saying things like "what if Watford or Charlton improve?" or "What if we lose next week." doesn't come into it. Reflect on the whole situation after each game if you must, but don't take one result or even a few results as an indication that this is how we will always play and that we are doomed to failiure. As I said before, this team is inconsistent. Results like Reading and Derby show that.

And if you lived your life in fear of what might happen, well you don't really have much of a life at all.
