  1. Could it not be worth a small fortune again? Say in 20 years time?
  2. I remember that. It's one of the reasons I asked.
  3. Well yes I appreciated that. I just wondered if there was any way that we could keep it should we go into admin. It could produce a timely financial boost in the future.
  4. What is his plan???
  5. Will we be forced to flog that should we go into admin? Wilde talked of housing developments is that a possibility? Any update on the oil? (clutching at straws)
  6. Would that not make us bottom of the league?
  7. Ohhh get her!
  8. why?
  9. Bloody Wigan now. You sure it's on?
  10. Yawn. When is he on?
  11. It will be important to note though if it is Lowe putting us into admin or if we are forced into it.
  12. Steve I am interested to know, what would you like to happen with the club say between now and the summer? Realistic obviously, not the 3 of them working together or some mystery investor.
  13. You know I think I agree with you. I'm still struggling to make out what he has done so wrong as to be assosciated with Wilde and Lowe. So far he lost his temper at the AGM and made a mistake which he owned up to and rectified before it was too late. I would trust him and he is the best of the three. He should be in charge.
  14. Gash I liked that place!
  15. The problem with Lowe's strategy is by promoting the youth policy we are really restricting ourselves in the transfer market, something we can't afford to do under our financial situation.
  16. If that's the case then most certainly yes. Admin would be a ***** but we need a fresh start.
  17. We will probably go into admin sometime in the next few years anyway. I just reckon Lowe will be forced o leave regardless of the finances. He just won't be able to stay on in the face of increasing protests.
  18. Maybe start a new thread?
  19. Nope. Regardless of administration, I can't see Lowe being able to stay on longer than this season. The fans won't allow it and the protests will get louder and longer as this continues. It will get to a point where he will simply not be able to ignore it. It's inevitable.
  20. I believe if it was a choice between say selling his shares to leon and backers or voluntary admin he would choose admin. That sort of attitude is worrying
  21. Don't be so bloody melodramatic. FFS I wonder what people are on sometimes.
  22. Right so because he did not shout about his plans as a "revolutionary coaching setup" he suddenly did not have one? How do you create that logic? We only knew about Lowe's "plan" because he used it as spin on the OS as justification for getting rid of Pearson and starting this ridiculous campaign of buyin g and playing youth players. It seemed obvious to me that Crouch would have stuck with Pearson, removed the relevant players to trim the wage bill and brought in experienced yet cheap pros mixed with some of the talented youth players we already had at our disposal.
  23. Again I ask you why. With Pearson and Crouch at the helm this season I firmly believe we would be mid-table (and certainly not in the position we are in now.) That would be a success IMO.
  24. I really liked Pearson and yes I did think we was very good for us. When he came in confidence was terribly dented and it was obvious that it would take time to turn things around and getting people to play his way. The problem was we didn't have much time. By the end of the season there were real signs that we would turn the corner for the next year. There was real fight at the WBA and Sheffield United games like the saints of old. Most importantly, almost all the fans who attended games were fully supportive and behind the manager. It was great to hear the chants for Pearson after the pitch invasion. I felt a real unity and togetherness that others have told me they also felt. Things like this would have made a real difference and contributed to this season had we kept Crouch and Pearson in charge.
