What do P****y owe us £35 thousand for?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Saint Johnno's topic in The Saints
Amazing. Chester City were kicked out of the Conference because they owed their local rivals Wrexham money from ticket sales. P*mpey owe us £35k and they're still allowed to compete in the FA Cup. -
Still laugh about the time Saints played Fulham when they were lodging at Loftus Road and we scored very late on. Strachan ran on the pitch to celebrate. The Fulham fans were shouting at him to get off the pitch. Strachan's response to them, 'Why? It's not your pitch'.

Yeah it was a televised match on a Friday night. It won goal of the season.

Anyone still play old consoles?

Just dug out the Playstation and had a few games of Fifa 2001. Very enjoyable. Can anyone tell me how much better the likes of Fifa '09 & '10 are? -
Chelsea won't roll over like Spurs did because Chelsea aren't managed by an ex-p*mpey manager who loves a bung. How funny would it be if P*mpey were rumbled for paying Harry a bung and then kicked out of the competition. What a way to top their season.

Skates v Yids Match Thread

So it's official. Just like 2008 there will be no FA Cup final this season as nobody is interested. -
As posted in another thread... I can see the FA cup being cancelled this year. It happened in 2008 due to lack of interest in the competition and may well happen again this year. 2008 was the first time the FA felt it neccessary to cancel the event since World War 2. I saw a picture of the trophy the other day and seeing the words 'CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST' engraved next to 2008 just didn't look right. It's a shame as I like the FA Cup, but when nobody is interested you can understand why the FA scrap it.
-
What?! Why is Barnard not playing? We'll end up with a repeat of the Brighton performance where we end up chasing the game and Barnard will have to come on and save the day. The lad should be starting every game. I do wonder what goes through Pardew's mind somethimes.

Not been there for a while. Perhaps he's pinned himself to his sofa and is unable to leave the house. If so, he must be getting hungry.

Bloody hell. I thought that was embroiderd onto the shirt. From what people are saying, I'm glad I didn't pay for some cheap print that comes off in the wash.
-
How tacky are those t-shirts! Are they not doing an embroidered option for the home shirt? They did one with the date of the final, so why not do one that says 'JPT final winners 2010'?

Lallana speculation...
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
I'm sure Adam is looking at this and thinking, I could enjoy the same success that Andrew Surman has had if I go there. -
Like I said yesterday. Celtic are managerless at the moment. Why would they be looking at buying players that a potential new manager may not be interested in?
-
Surely the manager would tell the chairman which players he wanted. If so, why would Celtic be interested in Lallana when they've not appointed a replacement for Tony Mowbray yet.
-
Had a great time in Sweden in 2004. I'd be more than happy to go back there.

I live in Chester so it's a 500 mile round trip for a home game. The ever rising price of fuel doesn't help when added to the price of a ticket and spends for the day. I also work most Saturday's, so that makes things difficult.

Danny Wilson is a great manager and one of football's nicest characters. The league doesn't lie. Swindon have been well organised all season and Wilson has done a superb job, proving that you don't have to spend millions to produce an effective 'team'. Anyone who thinks we will walk this league next season could be in for a shock. Just because we have a big budget, it doesn't mean we are going to run away with the league. There will be other teams like us who will strengthen by spending and like Swindon, there will be one of two other suprise outfits who are well organised and have a great team ethic, which will prove to be worth its weight in gold.
-
I'll be more concerned if Jamie Scowcroft starts for them. He always scores against us.
-
I'd go for the following... Holmes Murty Spiderman Wotton Perry And maybe... Connolly Antonio Papa Waigo Jaidi Pardew?

I said that when we were 1-0 down and we equalised. Thought I'd try it again as a last ditch attempt and it worked again -
