See, I told you that picture I showed you was the finished article. You said you thought it was nice when I showed you the pic. Or were you just being polite, hoping that it was a fake and that the actual shirt would be something completely different? Well sorry mate, It isn't. You've got 12 months of looking like a jockey or a Polo player See you tomorrow.

New Kit 2010/2011 - It's coming soon
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Dr Who?'s topic in The Saints
Just called my mate at Umbro. He said he was looking at a wall planner in his office and it clearly states 'Southampton Kit Launch' w/c 07.06.10. He also said there's been some changes to the shirt he showed me 4 weeks ago, but flatly refused to say what they were -

My mate at Umbro has just sent me a text to say that the new Saints shirt launch is on thier schedule for next week. TBH I think we'd worked that out already. lol -
Why has somebody started another 'lost' thread? There's already one in this section and it's pretty bloody hard to miss it!

Hello fellow citizen of Chester!!! I understand what you are saying... The island was real and everything that happened there actually happened, and the ALT timeline was their "purgatory" so to speak. That doesnt take away from the fact that everything that happened on the island was completely ridiculous and lots of it was left unexplained. for instance: Why do these energy pockets exist? Why can a guy get pushed into one and turn into a smoke monster that kills people and can inhabit dead bodies? Why does jacob have special powers? Why can hurley talk to dead people? What was the real significance of the numbers? Why can the island jump through time periods at the turn of a wooden wheel? Why do you appear in Tunisia when you turn said wheel? Why was Widmore thricked into leaving the island and what was hsi real motive for returning to the island? and many more ... The thing I found odd was that certain people like Walt, Michael, Eko weren't in Jack's Purgatory. Yet Penny Widmore (who never visited the island) was.

So they're all dead. 6 years and a load of nonsense to discover that

And if you do want to buy one they've not got any. I got a blue patrick kit and was told by the club shop to order an XL as the sizes are a bit small. When it arrived it was like a dress! I normally have a large but in this case a medium would have been fine. The XL they sold me is a joke. They probably just wanted to shift some stock I contacted the club who said they wouldn't exchange it.:smt076

Inclined to agree. I'm assuming that AP has a RB & CB lined up and maybe someone who can cover both positions? I've not been that impressed with Seabourne and it's still early days for Martin. Jaidi is knocking on, so i'm concerned about the likes of Thomas, James and Semi being released. However, I'm sure AP knows exactly who he wants for these positions so we'll just have to wait and see.

I do when every thread on a Saints forum seems to be talking about P*mpey.
-
Now you are starting to annoy me! I'm entitled to my opinion.
-
As I said in an earlier post. I'm sure our players would rather hear the fans getting behind them by singing Saints songs rather than anti-p*mpey songs. I couldn't understand the singing of anti-p*mpey songs to Carlisle fans at the JPT final. Totally irrelevant!

Some people are obsessed. Instead of wasting time and effort worrying about that lot, why not focus your attention on the team you support?
-
Where I live has nothing to do with it. Sadly I have to put up with Wrexham fans and Welsh people on a daily basis. Believe me, I'd rather live and work with Pompey fans than that lot
-
Won't be watching today as Saints ain't involved. However, I've got a feeling P*mpey will win. There's no pressure on them. Everybody is expecting them to get thrashed and in the past we've seen the rank favourites turn up thinking it's already sewn up only to get the shock of their lives.

You're obviously a jinx. If AP signs someone who he claims is going to be the next big thing, then do us all a favour and don't get his name on your shirt. -

Pathetic! So you'd put the name of a club you dislike on your Saints shirt rather than something that's actually relevant & related to Saints. I'm getting bored with this 'We hate P*mpey' rubbish. It means nothing. I'm sure our players would rather hear our fans singing Saints related songs than anti P*mpey songs. People should focus their attention on Saints rather than worring about another club. -
This whole P*mpey thing is getting boring. People seem to be more concerned with dissing them than supporting our own club. My main interest is Southampton FC. I couldn't care less about P*mpey. Unless it's Saints playing in the cup final then I'm not interested. To borrow part of a quote from Gordon Strachan... I've got more important things to think about. I've got a yogurt to finish by today, the expiry date is today. That can be my priority rather than Portsmouth in the FA Cup final.

I've noticed that other clubs who've had an anniversary to celebrate, have kept to their traditional colours and released a limited edition anniversay shirt. If Saints were to do this they could keep the red and white stripes and release a 'sash' kit in limited numbers. 125 would make it really collectable but wouldn't raise much so 1250 maybe? This would genertae greater income from kit sales and keep everybody happy. -
Yep, I thought that too.

Pardew and board to meet Thursday now...?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
My view is fairly straight forward. Pardew has done a good job given that we started the season with a pretty poor squad and had a 10 point defecit. Have the board forgotten that we won the JPT? If they get rid of AP then we will be a laughing stock once again. We'll have to start all over again next season with no guarantee that any incoming manager will get us promoted. What will they do if a new manager has only achieved mid-table status by Xmas? Sack him and hope that they find a replacement who can get us into the play-offs? This is the sort of behaviour that we saw with Rupert Lowe & Co. I thought we'd seen the back of all that ****? -

Clarkson: The end of an error
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to doubleonothing's topic in The Lounge
What are you waffling on about? What has Ian Hislop got to do with my dislike for Jeremy Clarkson? My hate for him has nothing to do with politics. The man is an idiot. And before you start, I base my judgement on the fact that I had the misfortune to work with the man. -

Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to doubleonothing's topic in The Lounge
Who the **** does Jeremy Clarkson think he is? I'd like to see him try and do the PM's job... On second thoughts, no I wouldn't. The man's a complete ****! -
I see what you are saying, but everybody is charging silly money for the phone unless you do a 2 year contract. The Tesco deal is still a cracker as they are the only people offering a 12 month contract. Look at it this way. An 18 month deal from O2 will cost you £149 for a 16Gb phone and £35 per month giving 300 mins & unlimited Data & Texts. TOTAL £779 A Tesco deal for 12 months will cost you £320 for a 16Gb phone & £20 per month giving 250 mins & unlimited Data & Texts. TOTAL £560. I realise that the O2 contract is 6 months longer and you get a few more mins per month, but even if you did the Tesco deal and kept it for 18 months rather than 12 it's going to add £120 to the price making it £680 for 18 months. That's still £100 less than the O2 deal. Apple are a bunch or ****s really. They've pretty much fixed the price (which is illegal). It doesn't matter what you do, or where you go, long term it'll end up costing you pretty much the same amount. Over 2 years an i-phone will cost you about a grand.
