Sigh. Is the point of a forum not to discuss opinions? His opinion being that it's utterly pointless information. If you don't like his opinion then don't post a response you massive berk.

Pointless Early 2013/14 Kit Speculation Thread
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to The9's topic in The Saints
I've just read something that said black was ditched from Saints current kits at the request of chairman NC. He wanted Red and White (colours of the Swiss flag) as a tribute to ML. It went on to say that all future kits will be Red & White but don't be surprised to see green appear on the shirts instead of black. I think this may have been a tongue-in-cheek comment in relation to NC being a bit of a control freak and him wanting the team to play in the colours of the Italian flag... I wouldn't put it past him. -
After 8 games, what are your thoughts...
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Adkins. He got Saints back to the Premiership. He'd done nothing wrong and he deserved to be given a chance to prove himself. He's a young British manager and given the current state of the game and the influx of foreigners, British players and managers should be given more support. -
We obviously have very similar collections. I too am only missing the 3 shirts that you mention. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever find them. :-/

We're a joke. £12m for Ramirez!!! I was one of many who questioned that at the start of the season and got nothing but abuse. I'll say it again. £12m should've been spent on 2 or 3 players. Not one very average one. He'll end up leaving for about £2m. Great business that. Face it. Saints are going to pay the ultimate price for getting rid of NA (2 defeats in his last 12 games). I'd rather have seen us go down with a young British manager in charge than an Argie (1 win in 6) who will be off as soon as we're relegated.
-
I don't take delight in it. I'm just ****ing angry. Anyone with half a brain cell could see that NC made a huge mistake getting rid of NA and replacing him with this idiot. There was uproar and then in typical Saints fashion the fans rolled over and accepted it. It pains me to say it, but Saints fans are spineless. We've been dealt so many blows over the years yet we keep putting up with being treated like *****s. Other clubs would still be protesting against the sacking of NA. Not us. We just take it on the chin and put up with ****ty performances like today. I'd have rather seen us go down with a fight and a good young British manager at the helm. IMO Saints will be relelgated. MP will walk and NC will have been taught a very valuable lesson... If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.

Are we PRO or ANTI Cortese on this Forum

****, I've just remembered that I said I'd never post on this forum again after last weeks fiasco. Sorry about that. I'm off. I'm pretty sure I won't be missed. -

How can you say that? What if Saints get relegated? Is that progression? An Argentinian manager with his fancy Spanish football trying to get out of the Championship... I don't think so. Cortese is a bell end. possibly a bigger bell end than Rupert Lowe. I have a horrible feeling that his decision will backfire horrendously. i wonder how our spineless supporters will react when it finally sinks in that they've been ****ed over by another moronic chairman? -

Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Can't stand the ****. He's another Rupert Lowe. What really annoys me is how spineless the majority of our fans are. Last week when Adkins was sacked everybody was full of ideas about protests. When it came to the crunch they sang Adkins name and didn't show any kind of strength or solidarity with a Protest aimed at the chairman. How many times are we going to allow ourselves to be ****ed over by the likes of NC? I hate to say it but we're a joke of a club and an embarrassment. All talk and no action. Supporters of clubs must look at us and **** themselves laughing. The reason things like this keep happening at Saints is because the fans let it happen. They talk a good game and then accept it as if nothing has ever happened. -
Welcome to Saints Mauricio Pochettino
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Spudders's topic in The Saints
I'm with Alpine on this. I wasn't a huge Adkins fan but he was starting to prove the doubters wrong. The result at Chelsea is a prime example and I was more than happy to eat a huge slice of humble pie after that. He deserved to be given the season at least. This is the final straw for me. I'm sick of all the crap that surrounds football these days. Particularly Premiership football. I've spent most of the season following my local non-league team, Chester FC. A club that went bump and is now owned by the fans. It's such a refreshing change to the Premier****e. Sensible ticket prices. No egotistical Chairman etc. Thanks for all the banter over the years folks. I'm voting with my feet on this one. A decision that many of you will slate me for but I'm beyond caring. -

Got slated for saying this at the start of the season. Funny how many people now want him out!

Completely unexpected. More than happy to eat my words about Adkins and his tactics. He obviously got it spot on tonight. So pleased to see Chaplow getting a run out as I really believe he has something to offer. I'd certainly be playing him before Davis. -

Amazing what a difference Lambert has made. I take back what I said about Nigel's tactics. It looks like he might have done something right for a change. Glad Chaplow is being given a chance. I really believe he gives us something. Certainly a better option than Davis. -

Guly & Davis start and we leave Lambert & Ramirez on the bench. Nice one, Nigel. You really are a clueless ****! People keep going on about how our goalkeepers have cost us points this season but how many points have Nigel's negative tactics cost us? -
Danny Fox to Nottingham Forest?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Let him go and let's make a move for Stephen Warnock. -
Gaston Ramirez , has he lived up to the hype?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Norm's topic in The Saints
Absolutely not. Looks like a good player but there isn't enough quality around him to allow him to shine and there probably never will be. If someone offers £12m for him I'd snatch their hand off as I don't think we'll see anything like that for him in the future. -
To be perfectly honest I'd not be disappointed if we sold him now and got our money back as I don't think we'll see anywhere near what we paid for him in the future.

Is our current side being competitive in premier league?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
The turning point was the return of Cork. Forget all the big money signings, he's been our most important player this season. -
Davide Astori Southampton target?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
He won't come to Saints. -
This injury is another shining example of why we should've addressed our defence instead of spending money in less important areas. We knew our 2 CB's were the probably the weakest part of the team when we were promoted and failed to bring in any real quality. We've wasted money on a striker when we had Billy Sharp, who I'm convinced would've done a better job that Mayuka. Lets be honest, Yoshida is only marginally better than what we already had.... And that's being kind. Unless we act very quickly we're about to see our season disappear down the toilet.

Absolutely spot on.
