Post-Match Reaction: West Ham 1-3 SAINTS

Fantastic result! :-) 4 points from the first 3 ain't too bad. From the same 3 fixtures last season we achieved 6 points, but we were one of only 2 teams to get a result at Anfield last season. Shame about last weeks result but that's football. Let's hope for a couple of quality additions and that Morgan stays. -
He obviously didn't want to come here so has lazed around and underperformed in an attempt to force the manager to offload him. Basically his plan has worked perfectly.

Let's just take, Richards, Sinclair & Guidetti from Man City. Job done.

Petition: New Stadium - Grimsby Town
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Nelly GTFC's topic in The Saints
Done. Although I much prefer the old grounds. Not been to a new stadium that's had an atmosphere anything like you used to get. I'd take the Dell over St. Mary's any day. -
Totally agree. I still think we need a winger / creative, attacking midfielder and a poacher of a striker more than anything else. A proper fox in the box has to be a priority as we just don't look like we've got goals in us at all.
-
Zaha back to Palace, on loan. Would've thought he was what we were looking for. That said, I don't really know what Koeman looks for. Apparently we're in for Van Dijk???
-
I'd start him alongside Morgan and give Big Vic a go at CB.

Gaston Ramirez to Seville on Loan (Rumour)
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to saint-ross's topic in The Saints
Mixed feelings about this really. Seems strange given our lack of options in that department, however, he's never really done it for us so maybe he needs to move on. -
Exactly! Time to bombard Koeman's twitter account to let him know what the fans think!
-
Is Cork playing to get a move? I ****ing hope not. Koeman's first job in the morning should be to get him signed up on a new deal.
-
Yes they are. Let's just take a punt on someone like Carlton Cole.
-
Like! As I said elsewhere. It would be a crying shame if we let him go!
-
Which poses the questions... Why & what the **** are we going to do about it? Time is running out to bring players in and what we've got clearly isn't good enough. Pelle was always a gamble and as I said elsewhere, I'd have rather kept Sharp and £8m. Long for £12 is a **** take. £6m in Jan to £12m in Aug after 15 games and 4 goals makes no sense at all and his performance tonight just reinforces that.
-
This is shocking. Our front line cost £20m. Laughable! Bring back Sharp & Barnard! There's enough talent in our squad to be battering teams like this so it raises some serious questions about the manager and his style of play. Still think he'll be gone by Xmas.
-
Thought Cork would've started tonight. No Morgan in the squad. Been busy so not had chance to look into why this is. Is he injured or just being rested?
-
That is utter nonsense and you know it is. I agree with a lot of what is said on here but I also think there's a lot of people who live with their heads in the clouds. For some reason it appears to be be some kind of crime to be realistic and have an opinion that isn't the same as everybody else's. This is a forum for people to discuss and share views. For some reason it seems to have turned into some kind of place to bully and belittle those don't want to follow the herd.
-
What the **** is that supposed to mean? I've just had a text from your English teacher. She says you're to put in some extra hours after school as you clearly haven't been listening in class. She would like you to look at your spelling and how to use punctuation in sentences.
-
Really? perhaps you'd like to look back and check on that.

4-3-3 & our squad suitability
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
I think Saturday showed that it doesn't work. I'd much rather see us playing with 2 up front. Good old 4-4-2. -
Yes, Ronald McDonald.
-
Hmmm, I've just had a text to say he'll be gone by the time the transfer window closes, something I'm not happy about at all. Letting Cork go would be a huge mistake.
