Is the Nathan Wood deal still happening? 2 days ago the press were reporting that his signing was imminent in the next 48 hours but there's been nothing since.
-
Very disappointed to see him leave. I can only assume the deal he was offered was only for a year and he wanted something longer? I think we need players like him for what's ahead. As others have said, I'd rather have SA than Lallana. Can't help but feel that this isn't a great start to proceedings. The club really needs to make sure that they get the Flynn Downes transfer sorted.

Adam the Lama to return to Saints? Is this true?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
He was playing golf yesterday and was heard telling the people he was with that he was signing today as a player coach. It's predominantly a coaching role with the odd cameo role. I can only assume this means early cup games etc? -
Flynn Downes would be a great addition. We need a rock of a midfielder. A right-back if KWP goes and cover if he doesn't. A new left-back is priority and a solid centre-back. ABK could do a job but I don't see him returning. Sign Brooks and Fraser as both have experience and something to offer. I'm hoping Edozie will shine in the way that Eze and Olise have for Palace. We definitely need a goalscorer and a number 10. Ings could be a useful addition and I'd rather have him that Che, but he shouldn't be the first choice striker. I'd like SA to stay as he's got experience and is a useful squad player. Lumley, Bree, Manning have to go. Stephens and Bednarek are squad players at best. Not sure about Shea Charles, Alcaraz or KS. Loan out the youngsters like Ballard etc.
-
Stephens should not be a first team starter in the Prem. In the final he showed just how many careless mistakes he makes with two suicide balls gifted straight to the opposition. I like the guy but he's not up to the task in hand.

Happy to eat humble pie. Wasn't sure about him at all and some team selections have been bizarre but he's stuck to his guns and done what he was employed to do.

WBA 0-0 Saints - SF 1st Leg Match Thread

Mara up front? He's only been in the starting 11 four times all season. 😩 Either RM is a genius or a complete wanker. -

What a fucking disgrace. RM can fuck off and take this bunch of underachieving pricks with him. Can someone explain how Saints teams never have any fight in them? It's been the same for decades. It doesn't matter who the manager or the players are, they never look up for a fight. The club must be jinxed because I can't think of any logical explanation. I'm done with this shit. It's the same every season. The club is rotten to the core. Shit board, shit manager, shit players. I'd rather give my money to a non-league club. -
Fucking shite. Same old story with this club. Never do things the easy way. A golden opportunity to go for promotion and they lose to a team who can't make the playoffs or get relegated. e Better get used to performances and results like that because they'll be the norm next season. Nothing more than a bunch of serial underachievers.

Ipswich 3-2 Saints - Match Thread

Exactly. Saints will be lucky to challenge for the top 6 next season. Downes, THB, Fraser, Rothwell & Brooks will leave, then there's the likes of KWP, Stu, Che, Edozie and possibly Smallbone who won't stay another 12 months. There's a massive rebuild on the cards. Get used to trips down the road to play the skates and being like just Coventry City, Norwich or Bristol City. Saints will be championship team for years to come. Never should have appointed Martin. He's just turned us in to Swansea City. -

WTF was Bazunu doing? That stupid quick kick with a minute on the clock. All he had to do was take his time. Fucking moron. -

And that's exactly why Saints don't deserve to go up. Can just see them losing in the plays offs to someone like WBA or Norwich. -

Saints 1-2 Millwall - Match Thread

Not going anywhere other than Fratton Park next season. Perhaps the giddy idiots on here who were talking about Promotion at Xmas are finally realising that Saints are nowhere near Premiership quality as a thumping at Liverpool next week will show. -
A lot of people were getting very giddy far too soon. Today's result against Millwall yet again confirms that Saints are nowhere near Premiership standard as a thumping at Liverpool next week will show.
-
Perhaps now people will start realising that Saints aren't going up automatically.

Been saying all season that we wouldn't go up automatically and that the wheels would start to come off mid-feb, although I was thinking WBA, Not Bristol City. tonight sums up why I don't think Saints will get automatic promotion. They've always got it in the to fuck up spectacularly. No coincidence that our worst performances happen when SA doesn't start. sta -
Adams and Ings to reunite at Wolves?
-
Our inability to kill teams off with a second goal has come back to bite us on the arse, again. Until we start putting space between us and the opposition this will happen. Our inability to score goals is concerning given our attacking options.

I have a spare Equality warm up shirt from this season that I'm looking to sell. The shirt is a medium in size and comes with the certificate of authenticity from The Saints Foundation. There were only auctioned on eBay a week ago. I won one but so did my wife, who was going to give me the shirt as a present, until she discovered I'd also won one. I think most of these sold for over £100. Open to sensible offers.

I'm looking for one of the Saints Retro shirts that they seem to have stopped doing. It's the 1986-87 Home Shirt with the Draper Tools sponsorship. Basically the original version of this seasons home shirt. I've Seena few Chinese made copies but I'm after the one that was available in the club shop last season. Any adult size. Cheers.

Saints 1-1 Rotherham - Match Thread
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Lee On Solent Saint's topic in The Saints
With the exception of 1 or 2 players, every member of our team has premiership experience and should be more than good enough at this level. Only 1 or 2 of them currently look like they'd get into a Premiership team. The reason they're not performing is because we've got a manager who isn't getting the best out of them and is trying to play a style of football not suited to The Championship. You need to be physical and direct to get out of this league and we're just not strong enough. We lack a leader on the field and we lack a manager with a plan B. If our board had anything about them they'd get rid of Martin immediately and go and get someone with an old wise head on their shoulders just to get us up. Wilder, Warnock, Allardyce, Potter. Any of them would get more out of this lot. -

Russell Martin, just Fuck Off you absolute wankstain. -
Is he still here? Our fans could learn a thing or two from Ajax fans about how to show the board their discontent.
