Leicester 1 Saints 2 - Post Match Celebrations
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
At half time I saw that we were 2 up, down to 10 men and naturally feared another draw or even a defeat. The team who've dropped 15 points from leading positions against the team with the best comeback record in the league made for a nervy second half. What a performance. As others have said, how he got that performance from that group of players is unbelievable. A couple of solid additions and players coming back from suspension and injury and we 'should' be fine. -
I'd love us to go there, get 3 points and spell the end for Puel. Sadly I've not got a good feeling about this one with all the injuries & suspensions.
-
Desperately need to win this one. Sadly I don't see it happening. No, Ings, Obafemi, Yoshida, PEH, and doubts over Bertrand & Austin. We're screwed if we're relying on Long up front.
-
Because he wants to leave?
-
The breakdown story would make sense. You don't become a poor keeper overnight and find yourself going from 1st to 3rd choice. The guy kept 10 clean sheets in a row when he came back from injury. Yes he had a good defence in front of him, but I do feel that some of the criticism aimed at him has been a bit uncalled for.
-
It wasn't pretty but who cares. That's a great result. Such a shame that after such a performance they've dropped back into the bottom 3. Still, plenty to be positive about. If they keep playing like that we'll be fine.

Hasenhuttl to leave if saints get relegated?

If this story is true then he may as well go now. -
Do you think we'll go down this season?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
Definitely. -
If you go right back, Ranieri rejected us and took the Greece national job. I saw an interview with him where he said it was the biggest mistake of his career.

WTF is that line-up all about?

Your Most Disliked Current Saint

Mark Hughes. He's gone crying to the press saying that he feels he's unfairly bearing the brunt of the criticism labelled at the managers of the Premier League's bottom clubs. Is he for real? Saints have won 1 game all season. His criticism is entirely justified. Now **** off you ******. -
All I wanted for my birthday was to wake up and find out that Hughes had been sacked. Ahh, well. :-/
-
RIGHT, THAT'S US OUT OF THE CUP, CAN WE SACK HIM NOW? PLEASE!!!
-
Rodgers is the only man on that list that I'd like to see get the job. We're ****ed if it's Monk.
-
I was prepared to give him a chance but this is beyond a joke. He's got to go!
-
Surely he can't still have a job on Monday?
-
Jumped before he was pushed.
-
It's irrelevant. The problems at the club go way beyond the manager. Most of these players have now played for 3 different managers in 3 seasons and the results are still the same. Poor recruitment is largely the issue.

Man City 6-1 defeat dissection post match thread.

Same here. Won £40 on City to score 6 or more. -
Hughes has to go but the problems at the club go far deeper than the manager.

Leicester City Helicopter Crash (Match PP)

Can we not just stop the petty squabbling? This really isn't the time or the place. Srivaddhanaprabha was they type of owner that most fans dream about running their club. A man who delivered the goods and gave the fans what they wanted. That's a very rare thing these days. He should be remembered for what he did for the club and for the local community. Others in similar positions should look at him as an example of how things should be done.
