  1. I think somebody is getting a bit ahead of themselves... Unless they know something we don't? Wikipedia says his current club is Southampton. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moussa_Djenepo
  2. Saw it on Twitter, although what CB Fry says is correct. If you Google it nothing comes up, which is probably good news. Let me try and find the original post that I read and I'll post a link.
  3. I've just read that former Chester City owner, Stephen Vaughan is involved with LD Sports. Very bad news if true. I lived in Chester and would regularly attend games when he was in charge. He tried to move the club to Witness at one point. I don't know a Chester fan who has a single good word to say about him. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Vaughan_Sr.
  4. Surely the starting point should be to ask if a design would sell as a piece of clothing, before they put a badge on it. If the answer is no then you go back to the drawing board.
  5. Yep. Any fan wanting a new shirt should just go and buy a red and white striped retro shirt. Surely the club would then get the message?
  6. Exactly. I don't understand the constant use of a different colour for the shoulder area. I'm glad that the shirt posted on here a couple of days ago was fake, but this isn't much better.
  7. Yeah, another one was basically the Monaco shirt. P*mpey fans tried to spoil the vote. I used to have a picture of the 5 shirts but can't seem to find it now.
  8. It's not only the designers at UA. You'd have to assume that they presented the club with a few options and somebody actually decided that this was acceptable. Doesn't say much fir the people at the club, does it? If this was the best one then I dread to think what the others were like?
  9. This is Red & White with a thin Black stripe would be absolutely fine.
  10. Twitter. At first it was rumoured to be a mock up but then people started saying that they've seen the shirt and they're sorry to confirm that this is it. :-(
  11. My thoughts exactly. That's the worst home shirt in Saints history. It was leaked on Twitter and people thought it was a mock up but there's a few people who claim to have seen the new shirt and they're confirming that this is definitely it. That'll be the first home shirt I've not purchased since 1980!
  12. That's pretty much what I'm expecting.
  13. That's pretty much what I'm expecting.
  14. I think we need 2 CB's, a striker and a quick attacking midfielder. Not too much to ask for. I see Ralph's been in the press saying that he's predicting a tough summer with limited funds. Doesn't bode well. He needs to be backed properly. Failure to do so will only result in him leaving and that's the last thing we need.
  15. Absolutely. I know people will say the last few games didn't matter but I'd have expected better results from the run-in that we had. 6 points from 6 games against, Wolves, Newcastle, Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham and Huddersfield is very poor. A major overhaul is definitely needed. The last 2 seasons have been ****e.
  16. Actually, it's not dissimilar to the cycling jerseys being worn on this year's big cycling challenge. The cycling jersey also shares some similarities to the old Admiral shirt with a black stripes between the red & white stripes.
  17. It would be good. MK Dons scheduled a game at quite short notice when they were over here a few years ago. Be interested to hear where Saints are staying. There's a few possible locations with training facilities attached.
  18. Just seen Fluminese's UA shirt for next season. If this is a standard template then I could see our home kit being like this. Thick Red and white stripes with a thinner black line between them. Perhaps someone with photoshop skills could re-colour this image to see what it would look like in our colours.
  19. Never witnessed a Saints comeback first hand but was unfortunate enough to be at Tranmere the night we had a comeback against us. We were 3-0 up at half time and lost 4-3.
  20. Not really. You can still mock up the shirt without sponsorship. Kit designers produce designs every day of the week without a clue who the sponsor is going to be.
  21. Fact or your preferred option?
  22. Result flattered them but I don't understand why the likes of Forster and Ely started this game. Surely we should be looking to get as many points on the board as possible, not playing players who simply aren't up to the job.
  23. Exactly. Our record for the last 6 games, which on paper was the easiest run-in of any of the bottom clubs, looks embarrassing.
  24. A mate has just sent me a text to say that he's heard our away kit next season is purple. I bloody well hope not, but given some of the awful shirts that have already been announced for next season, nothing would surprise me. Surely he's on the wind up? When have Saints ever worn purple???
  25. Same here. Something like the Feyenoord shirt. I see Adidas have just done Yellow / Black halves for Watford's kit next season.
