How do you equate Saints allocation of 44,500 and Carlisle allocation of 24,500 as being half and half?

Why do we seem to play well against the better sides, but not against the 'poorer' sides. Still, an away point is better than nothing.

Looking at the current odds, the bookies currently have us finishing in 8th place in the league div 1.

How about 6 defeats in 28. Not to mention only 1 defeat in cups (v premiership team Birmingham in Carling Cup) Not so bad looking at it from that perspective. ;-)

Even if we had gone into administration before the deadline, I think the points deduction would have been carried over to this season anyway, as we were relegated through our performance on the pitch, not through a points deduction. Therefore a points deduction applied last season wouldn't really have been a punishment. HTH

Just announced on Solent that he has a groin injury.

I wasn't able to watch it live, so had to listen on the radio laying on my bunk on HMS Blake just off the north coast of Scotland. My mate (a United supporter) was on his bunk opposite me and we had bet each other a fiver on the result. (He never did pay up) I did go to the semi final at Stamford Bridge against C. Palace and remember Malcolm Allison promising to eat his fedora if they lost.

First home I remember living in was Bowling Green House near the Royal Pier (our flat? overlloked the green and used to watch the 'old codgers' bowling. First school was St Johns (remember nissen hut as classroom) Moved to Bitterne in early 50's until I joined the RN in mid 60's, straight from school. Currently living in Po***mouth!!! , but siblings still live in Bitterne. My first senior school was the first intake at Moorhill 1960.

Regarding the piece in the PM about 'nearly given his identity away so if you realise who it is please say nothing for now' why the hell didn't FF reword his PM so he wouldn't 'nearly' give away the identity of his informer? Seems to be a very poorly worded message IMHO. Talk about baiting.

One of the questions raised was about a bus for disabled fans, but I couldn't hear the reply on the radio as my dog barked at the crucial moment. Anyone know what the reply was. Cheers.
