Fortunately I only had to get back to Bedford last night but what an awful performance we who went witnessed. Can't get over how **** poor Guly is now that he has his contract. At one point in the second half he was gifted the ball by the Pools keeper and only needed to lob into an empty net. What does he do? Pass to a lazy totally switched off Lambert who was miles off side. Crass and symptomatic of all that we were last night. Davis too still inspires no confidence coming for balls and failing to get them. We really must get a grip and Adkins needs to kick a few arses in that changing room.

Was with Thripp 87 when he did indeed speak to the officer concerned after the game. He is almost certainly employed by Hants police as he very proudly stated that he goes to Poopy games and never gets the reaction there that he got on Sat at SMS. Can't see the MET covering all Hants games in all honesty. Point of law. I remain interested to know whether any evidence the police obtain in the way that they did on Sat is actually admissable in Court. Good defence lawyers could drive a coach and horses through any evidence obtained in the way this would have been. The guy made it very very clear he would be back at SMS and to be honest I think he seemed quite surprised at the hostile reception he got. Personnally I thought it an appalling bit of policing that actually ran the risk of inciting trouble. The ground has surveillance cameras all around it as do all the approach roads so it really was unnecessary. Tory cuts will not alter this approach. No, law enforcement will increasingly be done in this way with desk bound civilians mulling over film looking for villains. Take a look at road policing ....never see them actually challenge you in person anymore, just vans illegally parked on the side of roads (A43 just outside Northampton on Sat on rte to the game.) It will all get worse but then as can be seen on here, the naiive amongst us will just bury their heads in the sand and think that our boys in blue are still like Dixon of Dock Green.

Not a question of being rude, merely a view that you object too!! Some people however feel expressing one's grief does not always have to be in public.

Why can't we just let the family grieve as they wish and from all accounts that is in a private, dignified manner. As fans, yes a minutes silence and book of condolence but please lets just try for once to cut out this awful trait of what can perhaps best be described as "corporate grieving."

Remove Stuart Dennis (is it?) that acts like some poor sod with an affliction prior to the games. A full run down of all the results in leagues 1-2, Championship and Prem along with a sound system that works.

Perversly what Labour must do now is let the Tories form a minority Govnt, no deals with the Libs at all, then wait 12-18 months. In that time all the Tory nasties will have come out, the great thick British electorate will be blaming them for all the ills of the country. Gordon will be history. The good looking Milliband will be leader (after all X factor politics is what counts in this country now) and then the opposition can bring the minority govnt down and go to the country with a manifesto pledge to amend the ridiculous voting system once and for all. NEVER AGAIN a Tory majority!! Any deals with the Libs will give Cameron a chance to cut and run in a few months before his nasty policies have really hurt and the British electorate have woken up to what he and his right wing press barons are about. NO DEALS WITH THE LIBS!!

We need to look at the goalkeeping dept in my view. KD not getting any younger and on more than one occasion this year has looked indecisive and uncommunicative with his defenders. Why does he rarely ever throw the ball out either. Far too often an aimless punt upfield for the subsequent game of head tennis. I do accept he is still a good shot stopper but ano domini is beginning to show me thinks and though a pipe dream this season, CCC football may now just be byond him.

I have paid OVER £100, still haven't got my tickets and live 200 miles from the box office. Panic!!!!? No!! Will enquire on Wed as we have been advised. Better not mention that the M3 has roadworks at two spots between Soton and the M25 and the M25 is a real mess too. The trains are disrupted and the coaches, well sooner you than me!!! As I said earlier, what on earth would happen if and when something awful does happen!!??
