I take it from your "maybe" that you HAVE left this country because you thought you could have a better life abroad? rather than staying and trying to recreate the community spirit yourself. That gives you less of a voice than others in my opinion, shouting from afar how good the country "should" be. Also, are you implying that I have a theory that multiculturalism has destroyed Britains identity? It's made our identity stronger if anything. I'm not sure what you believe our identity to be anyway, but I can almost guarantee it's not the same view as mine. Anyway, we are detracting from the original topic and this is my third post of the day.

Firstly, I'm not really bothered one way or the other if the occasion is marked by the club or not. What gets me is the way you feel the need to tell people who are still living in this city what they should doing, or feeling, when you have chosen to move away. I think it's a bit rich to bemoan the lack of "community spirit" when you've clearly made a choice to leave that community in search of what I assume is a better life. You should try living here now, it's a hugely multicultural city and a huge number of the current residents have no connection with the Titanic. The city has changed and keeps changing. That's life.

Break into his house in the dead of night. Take with you some towels, pliers, rope and chloroform. Now listen carefully as this can go wrong (believe me) Use the pliers to cut the phone lines, these will also be used later for teeth and toenails. Soak the towel in the chloroform and use over nose and mouth to render unconcious. Then strip him and use the rope to tie him firmly to the bed (face down) When he has regained conciousness bum him in hard whilst whispering "Up the Saints" (don't shout) saying it on the instroke. Once spent, remove teeth and toenails with the pliers. Trust me, this is almost fail safe.
