  1. Strong wind with heavier gusts, rain is persistent and does not look like it is going to get any better; will they play, don't know for sure.
  2. I am with you on that, what gets to me about all this transfer bullxxxt is the fact that the top 4-6 clubs think that they have the god given right to remain at the top, the only way they can do this is throwing more and more money at players; we have shown through our academy that their is another and better way, to sell players like Ward-Prowse, Shaw and Reed would be a reverse of our principals and cannot be allowed. Cortese has implemented more than just a successful club, he has these young and gifted players believing in Southampton and knowing that if they do well, playing in the premiership, the so called top clubs cannot offer that, so if I was N.C. I would tell them all to go forth and multiply, but not quite so many words.
  3. Exactly, hang in there, this Tan guy seems to be one of these people that thinks because he has been a success in business he is Gods gift to any other walk of life, football included, if he does sack him I really hope that available managers blank him.
  4. I really wished I could have been there, thrashing them 7-0 and seeing that guy run around the stadium would have topped it half, I did laugh reading your post, thanks for that, excellent.
  5. Call it gut feeling, I reckon the kid reed could get a run out tomorrow, however, probably wrong.
  6. I would go along with most of that, but his article does not ring quite true, however, and I may have to be corrected here, but did MLT change his mind at the 11th hour about joining Chelsea when Hoddle was manager for them; that may have had a beaing on his decision.
  7. Exactly, could not believe what I was reading considering who wrote it, quite staggering, if bull sxxt was music he would have a brass band.
  8. I did this for a good friends 40th birthday ten years ago, I simply went to the main reception area, asked to speak with someone who could help me with getting a shirt signed for a life long supporters 40th birthday, a guy came out (cannot remember his name) collected the shirt and told me to come back in a week, did just that and collected the shirt fully signed, the one autograph that sticks in my mind was Torpedo, remember him, of course Claus was their amongst all the others. Good luck and hope this helps.
  9. M.P. Oooooh, that Indian last night is just starting to work through, put a loo roll in the fridge for me.
  10. Have to agree about Clyne, from the first game against Man City last season I have been more than impressed by him, on another note, I wonder how many premier club boards, pundits and so forth will be taking us more seriously; look at what we as a club have brought to the party, Walcott, the Ox, Bale, Shaw, Lallana, Chambers, Ward-Prowse to name a few, their is no doubt in my mind that Southampton football club is showing the way forward to the rest and has to be the envy of all.
  11. Yeah, Paine in the *rse
  12. I do have to agree, one step at a time, I remember Ipswich getting into Europe in there first season back in the premiership, the next season they took the drop, this is just our second season back and frankly a top ten place would be great progress, a european place next season or even the one after will be soon enough.
  13. Your Michael Jackson impression is cxxp as well.
  14. M.P. to R.L., look there it is I told you I slipped up on Dog s**t
  15. Raheem, wow, its colder than I thought.
  16. Me too, I like the way he caused havoc with defenders, he was like a ball in a pin ball machine, as for his attitude, that is large part of Japanese culture is it not!
  17. Gonna set up my own social network, going to call it twxxter, this will a social media for naming txxts.
  18. Just another ball in the goal ! (Brick in the wall)
  19. Funny enough I met a former Saints Manager three weeks ago, referred to N.C. as a "loose cannon"; I told him he was wrong, and went onto say, that had he said shrewd or even ruthless then I may have agreed, however, loose cannon was wrong and that N.C. knows what he is doing where he wants the club to be and the one thing he could be sure of is that he will do it; other than that we had a really good chat and he was very approachable, finally do not ask who it was as I feel to disclose this would not be fair on him, but can assure you all it is true.
  20. I will go with that, too many changes close season, by the time they gel he will be gone.
  21. Male underwear by Guly, that should be good for a laugh.
  22. On the shoulders, and down the arms.
  23. Manipulation, not a description I would choose, what I would say is excellent business acumen, but just as importantly can sell the Southampton package, Q.E.D. a club that is going places based on a very good business plan that is one year ahead of the original schedule.
