I have to second that, Keegan has jumped ship a couple of times, but his record of getting clubs promoted is very good; the moral boost would be massive, and Bailey is right when he said that it would stick bums on seats.

I cannot wait to hear what the FL have been demanding on top of the ten point penalty, until then The jury is out; but with MLT saying just yesterday that the ten point penalty would be accepted, then the FL had to have been making further demands that Pinnacle could not accept. Put yourself in their position you would not throw 500.000 pounds at something if the FL had stated these demands at the start of the 21 day period, should this all prove to be the case then the role of the FL should be looked at. Lets face it what do they bring to the party in real terms, the square root of nothing, should Saints be wound up at the end of the week then I have to say that I really do not believe I could throw my support to any other club. Spot on Fitzhugh, in fact I have just sent a letter to Mawhinney asking for his immediate resignation, they are all totaly inept and have no concept on the workings of a football club.

I remember this like it was yesterday, I was driving north on the M5 when it came over the radio at a live press conference. I was over joyed, I could not believe that LM had pulled it off; Keegan coming to Southampton I was gob smacked. What a great day that was, if we retain him as manager I think it will be great for the club from a moral booster on its own.

Lets take a step back and throw some logic at this for a moment, the saints web site having just recieved the fixtures have put out an article from Wotte referance our first game(Millwall). They have also announced their pre-season friendlies, now if everything has gone belly up, why bother doing it at all, better to say nothing than write these articles. So for me it ain't over till the fat lady sings, if that had been the case then you could also bet on some kind of announcement from Fry; and or a press conference, so I am not going to hang myself just yet.

My all time favorite has to be Francis Lee and Norman Hunter who both got sent off after a punch up, as they were walking off it all started again; of course Franny Lee was about a foot shorter than Hunter which made it all the funnier.
