I have to agree, I would settle for a point as well, a tough game ahead.
-
So lets just say we do not lose any of them, and come away with 9 points, (3 draws and two wins) were would we be in the table at the end of Jan?
-
Sorry that was 2002, we then went on the following week to stuff them 4-1 I think in the third round of the F.A. Cup.
-
Is that now six games this season that we have won this season 3-1? Someone please correct me if I have got this wrong.
-
That statement really puts things in perspecitive, it has taken Leeds three seasons to get to where they are today. Pards came in with very little time left in the transfer window and turned things around very quickly, my heart said a draw against Leeds, but my head said we would lose by one goal; like most have said nothing to be ashamed of and a lot to look forward too.

I will bite your hand off down to the ankle for that result.
-
I was following the text on the beeb, 2-1 down on 90 minutes plus, I thought we were dead and buried, like someone else wrote, this is not the saints I have known for years; that was a fight back and a half.
-
Is their any web links for the game tonight?
-
That brings back some bad memorys, when we played them at the Dell in the F.A. cup and drew, the saints crowd were singing "you will never see our new stadium",(got that wrong) then we suffered one of the best come backs by any team frankly; still, time for pay back and I reckon we will get a 3-1 win.

Doc runs onto the pitch at St Marys, happy, sneezy, grumpy, bashful and sleepy are in the crowd, whilst dopey decided to go to Fratton Park.
-
This Charlton fan cannot count, if he took into account the minus ten point start then we would not be 3rd from bottom, I bet other Charlton fans are already reminding him of this.
-
I would not cross the street to pxxs on him if he was on fire, his middle name is TROUBLE.
-
I have to fully agree with that statement, it showed real metal to come back from two down, they must be feeling like they lost two points instead of gaining one; any draw away is a result, provided we keep wining at home.
-
I not know exactly what the stats are, all I know is that when teams seem to score this early on; they quite often go on to lose.
-
I did not know that, 2002 since we won four on the bounce, perhaps we are now looking up.
-
I think he also punted Nigel Mansell off the track in a touring car race once, Mansell was not happy, that much I do remember.
-
Oh stop it I am starting to salivate.

Excellent, fantastic, superb, wonderful, brilliant, delightful and above all that, Shxt hot, I can feel the play off's coming on.

Jan Poortvliet in relegation battle (again)
martel replied to CHAPEL END CHARLIE's topic in The Saints
Hey Saint Lard it is 6.15am here in Florida as I write, I have been trying to get that damn bug off my screen for a half hour; however, I am now fully awake and have stopped beating the sxxt out of my p.c. -
I have to agree with that, in fact gaining promotion to the championship this season could prove counter productive; I say this as we would have to go out and find other players to support what we have, as Saint Bones wrote it is better to hit hard next season.
-
No, no, no, we have been their (apart from the money of course) before; Lowe sacking managers like it was a national pass time. At long last we have a real future with a great owner and a good manager, lets keep it that way all the way back to the premiership.
-
I do find my self agreeing with you 100% on that observation Thorpie, in addition it also underlines that we have quite a way to go; and frankly if we finish mid table this season and go for promotion next season, then we should all be grateful for that.
