  1. I missed that referance the Oreint chairman call us cheats, why and when was that?
  2. Check out their recent form though, it is not great, in particular Colchester, according to BBC stats they had around 56% possesion yesterday at Exeter, but went down 2-0, even Tranmere beat Norwich yesterday as well. So it aint over till the fat lady sings, and I have to be optimistic and agree with Matthew Le God, that their is a chance and we have to go for it, of course those above us are in the better position. But I bet they are looking over the shoulder; as they have everything to lose, all Saints have to do is keep up that pressure.
  3. I fully agree with Trousers statement, sometimes a step backwards to go two steps forward does make sense.
  4. I thought they owned the club, they played as well?
  5. No, the manager would have to be Peter Stuyvesant
  6. I guess Butler would be renowned for his "lucky strike"
  7. We cannot have Camels, it would create a large Dun(g)hill
  8. If AP did go and like most I really hope he stays with Saints all the way back to the premiership, however, if the unthinkable happened then I reckon Gus Poyet would be our man IMO. Ask any Leeds fans and they will all tell you that he was the master mind, not Wise, on top of that of course he has done very well at Brighton beating Saints 3-1 for starters.
  9. Don't forget that this team apart from Fonte, are all pre-Jan transfer, so as AP said after the game it has been quite a while since they had all played together.
  10. Dead right, I for one did not realise how big that trophy was, is our trophy cabinet big enough to hold it? If it aint I am sure Marcus will have a new one made.
  11. Obviously from over here I do not get to see Saints too often, but I have to agree Mills was excellent, I managed to get a stream from Justin tv and watched the entire second half, they cut it short at the end and went to sky sports news which was unfortunate; however, great to see Saints coming out of Wembley 4-1 winners, must pull out my old Saints shirt and go to the pub this afternoon and celebrate.
  12. I was looking at that and could not make out if the 1 was actually a 7, therefore I am going to take the 7.
  13. Very good point, their will be many loop holes that is for sure, lets face it Platini is an ex player not a Camebridge Don; for me the Times article exposed many holes which will be fully exploited, as I have written here before football needs to be brought into line financially, in terms of transfer fees and wages, however, if an owner wants to invest to get his team from League one to the Premiership then they will find that task made even harder by the Platini plan; from what I have read it needs a lot more work and the best start would be to get rid if that bloated idiot Sepp Blatter.
  14. If you like Italian food, then I can highly recomend "Topo Gigio" in Soho, their is a pub right opposite as well, however, when you look inside the restuarant which will appear empty do not be put off as the main seating area is down stairs.
  15. Thanks Tractor
  16. I agree, however, I cannot find any where over here showing the game, I just went into one of my locals and they are not getting the game. Is their going to be a live stream going out via Justintv or any other internet tv come to that, if anyone has a heads up on that I would appreciate it.
  17. Yes and we can look forward to trancing the Skates, even better if they get a further points reduction to add insult to injury.
  18. I have to agree, actually reminded me of MLT just a little bit.

    Academy

Is their anyone with ITK, referance the title? I only ask as I have heard that a lot of young good players are going to be let go, I can assure everyone that my source is a good one; however, I cannot reveal their name as it could have some nasty back lash. It just seems to me that with all the money being spent at Staplewood, the information I have gained seems contradictive, hence why I ask if anyone else has heard anything.
  20. Can we do that? I made a maximum of 75 if we win all our remaining games!
  21. What a load of Bo--ox
  22. I would not have put it quite that way myself, however, I have to agree with your point of view, for anyone even thinking about purchasing P.F.C. then when you look at what they may purchase then the answer has to be nothing. They have no assets, correct me if I am wrong but one of the previous owners actually owns the ground, they are in affect a championship club already, most of the current team will be sold off by the administrator, so as I read that they have the square root of nothing; even if someone does consider buying it, will they be able to agree with creditors as to what their payout will be; personally I cannot see a way out for them despite the assurances given by the administrator today.

    SICK

I have to agree with that, in fact the 83/84 season was our very best, however, I like the look of the diagonal red sash at least it is different; after all how many teams have red and white stripes, Sunderland, Exeter, Cheltenham any others?
  24. I got invited by a friend and Chelsea fan to watch Chelsea play Saints at Chelsea on Boxing day 2002, I have to say it was great, the food was good as was the service; the only down side was the pitch resembled the Somme and good football was off the menu, but we got a draw and went home happy enough.
  25. From memory though MLT used to take the corners and a number of free kicks.
