  1. But your point is boring and I would suggest most people other than you were interested to here confirmation from a source who is involved with the bid. In addition you are saying all that I posted was freely available on the forum but you forget that there is also a whole lot of tripe on here too. So my point by posting is confirming some of this information as true to help people sort the truth from the absolute garbage. Anyway if it doesnt help then Ill refrain from adding other snippets that I pick up if that makes you happier
  2. Ok, Ill bite its a probably because the deal hasnt been completed. Until its signed sealed and delivered with the money in the bank there is always an element of doubt and to be frank MLT is going to look a bit of a tit if he starts saying its definate and soemthing goes wrong. As far as being an ITK, I just passed on some words from the mouth of MLT that I can be 100% sure is accurate as its from a member of my close family. You either want to know this type of info or you dont, i just thought some people might like to know. AS far as your comments about Dogface and the likes whi "dont fanny about", well correct me if Im wrong but am I not one of the very few on here that actually tellsyo uwhere the info came from Im not sure if I can call you a wayneker without being infracted or not so I guess I better not. Feel free to put me on ignore if you dont liek my info and where it comes from.
  3. If I was making it up would I not make up something slightly more interesting ? OK if it makes you happier then I admit I made it all up , does that make you feel better? FFS The thing that does **** me off is my contact never asks the juicy questions as he feels like he is prying.
  4. my contact is a family member and MLT is a firend of his and above is the summary of what they spoke about this morning. Im not too fussed whether you consider that made up bull**** or just put together from the "consensus" on here. I know the truth and after reading trhe rumours of the bid falling to pieces I was quite happy to have been told the information above. It certainly has put my mind at rest. You my friend can either read it and take heart from it or dismiss it as bull****. Either way it is no skin off of m nose. If I hear more ill put it on here as personally any information is better than none certainly after the silence of the past few weeks
  5. My contact spoke to MLT this morning and he said the pinnacle stuff is going well, The investor will take a major back seat with little involvement going forward. TL will run it for him. MLT will be involved (prob chairman) and he will have a given a cheque book for players but didnt say how much. He wouldnt open up on the manager front but only said they met with Wotte. He got the impression that they would want their own man.
  6. I agreed with the first poster he is underated. I certainly dont agree with you assesment of his first and second touch. IMO that was a positive attrbute to his game IMO.
  7. Not true, A perid of exclusivity and the accompanying deposit is to allow the preferred bidder to have full unlimited access to all financial details of the business. They will use this time to get their teams of accountants and financial experts in to go through the books with a fine toothcomb and will then of all is acceptable sort out all of the T&Cs of purchasing the company. The reason the deposit and an exclusivity period is because it is typically an expensive task for the bidder.
  8. Have i missed soemthing? Where has it emerged that the irish and pinnacle have walked? or are we guessing?
  9. I hope so it would be hilarious
  10. Small snippet in the sun saying gavin davies has told pals he wont let the club die. If no new owners are found he will step in. No source and is in the sun. But im prepared to clutch at any straw at the moment
  11. unlikely as he is on holiday at the moment.
  12. Probably the same people who didnt go before. At least they will have a new excuse
  13. WEll that was the only post worth lookingat on here for quite some time, who is she?
  14. Im hearing the reason for the stalemate of the pinnacle bid is not to do with lack of funds, in fact its the reverse. Apparentley as I mentioned the yesterday these guys are worth big bucks (circa £700m). The creditors are asking for more and more financial information from pinnacle but they are reluctant to give full detail on thier assets / cash as this could be used as a tool to push the price up. Kind of explains why Fry keeps extending the deadline as they are still talking and clearly there is cash available. However there were no comments either way as to whether they would agree a deal. Also had confirmation that pay day is indeed the 4th thursday of the month.
  15. So have you heard the £700million figure that these guys are worth too then? (Allbeit most in property etc)
  16. Maybe the creditors have heard the two guys in the consotium are worth in excess of £700million and want a larger slice of their money. Clearly the pinnacle group want to buy as cheap as possible. Hmmmmm standard negotiation me thinks. The question is who will walk away if they cant come to a compromise?
  17. My family source just received text back fom mlt after asking for news and he said - no news yet, legal guys still working on it.
  18. I posted wed that a family memeber spoke with mlt and today was the day. He (mlt)was expected and booked in to play golf this morning where i was to expecting to get an update. He failed to turn up which is not normal for him. Could be good news?
  19. Have i missed something? Where has it been quoted that they have been having trouble proving thier funds? Personally i think they are haggling over price and terms of the deal. Simple analogy for me would be like me buying a house. its on the market for £350k and I can afford to pay it but will i? no chance, I haggle the hell out of the seller to get the best deal I can even if it means I say i cant afford the full asking price etc etc. At the end of the day there will be a compromise or the buyer will walk away saying its not worth the money. I suggest they comparethemarket.com SIMPLES!!
  20. Im not personally in the know but a member of my family spoke to MLT today and he confirmed his group are the preferred bid and hope it will be done by Friday. He gave the impression he would be a figurehead chairman. The group he is involved with was meeting with Fry all day today. MLT said we will have a team to watch next season, dont worry.
  21. I met and have worked with MSQ at Azzurri. He founded the company on 2000 -01 using a venture capitalist and grew it to 100million turnover over 6 years through aquisition only. He got booted when the company was rumoured to be in financial trouble and went through a strategic restructure.
  22. Just had a call - apparently the MLT group are in talk alls day today and hope to finalise and announce by Friday. MLT will be chairman if the bid is accepted.
  23. I heard a rumour flying aound SMS that Leon Crouch had personally donated a large amount of money to SOS that effectively kept the club going until the end of the season. The figure banded around was £500k but he wanted it kept quiet. If this is just bol**X then it seems strange that there was word coming from numerous sources including Fry that we were unlikely to have enough cash to play out the season. Figures of around £500k needed to be raised to keep us going. Now we are well over week after the season has ended and absolutely no talk of running out of money. Maybe LC has personally financed us until the buy out has been finalised? Anyone else heard anything?
  24. The MLT bid is not in yet but s due to go in early next week. Source - Horses mouth this afternoon. He also confirmed Lowe is not involved with the other bid. He is also very confident that we will have a team to support next season.
  25. Defo there i got'a photo of him in directors box although in the distance
