Ive heard today from someone fairly close to the club that austin was having a medical today (not gordon watson ). However i know for absolute 100% fact that the club have released the odd bit of false news in order to try and weed out the leaks from employees. so its either true or absolute ******** so im personally swaying towards ****** at the moment. i will stay up until 11.26pm just in case.

I have a feeling there will be an OS announcement @11.26pm this evening. I can feel it in my water.

With all these comments about not being good enough, adkins in tactically inept, is it acceptable etc. What does everyone suggest assuming there is no more money for signings? sack the manager / bleat & moan about no stength in depth? blame the chairman? or have we had a couple of crap games after around 6 great games? Fickle? i think so. If you want a to watching something a little more predictacble I suggest you all start watchin WWF wrestling FFS

Le Tissier Snubbed ticket for United game ?
wild-saint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
10 tickets? IF he gets 10 why shouldnt I? Allow him to by 2-4 but 10 is taking the Tiss in my opinion. Who are these other 9 people that deserve to go more than any other saints fan just because they happen to know MLT -
last week by all accounts.

I agree but the fact its from a former player is slightly disconcerting for me anyway.
-
Now this may seem nuts but former saints striker (now scouting for various clubs but is a regular at SMS) is suggesting there was a big meeting in london with regards the future of the club. According to this player the Leibherrs have agreed to sell the club and the group looking to buy have 28 days to compelte DD. He alledgedly knows this as he is talking to the buying group about potential scouting work. This source has come up with other information in the past that has been shyte but Im interested to know if anyone else has heard any mutterings of this nature over the past couple of weeks. It all seems a bit unlikely as I feel any valuation of the club would be based on players in the squad and doubts over a price would arise with any potential sale of AOC.

its great being in a lofty position in the league, winning games, playing great footy but if we dont start moving through the leagues we will lose our better players, we wont be able to attract good players due to lack of ambition and ultimately the attendances / finance will start to dwindle. If time could stop still without the big picture changing then yeah sure stay in L1 / NPC but the fact is time waits for no man and we must progress od whither away. Enjoy it whilst we can lads and look forward to tougher challenges ahead.

You get abusive because I think your post was a bit fishy. Looking at you other ITK source of Adams GF told you that he will reject the saints contract it seems as though I was right to think your full of shyte. Now who looks the pr1ck. LMFAO

http://www.thisissussex.co.uk/news/Reds-issue-hands-warning-Tubbs/article-3062518-detail/article.html Not sure if anyone has mentioned this guy but a friend of mine is a big Crawley town fan and really rates this striker and thinks he is nailed on succeed at a higher level.

11.20 am - you post saying i know a friend of his ill get on it. 3 minutes later after contacting said friend, who in turn contacts austin, who then comes back to you with detail on where he is wanting to go you post a response . fishy?>

as if we wouldnt be loving it if lambert celebrated in front of the swindon fans when he scored.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there. MS and DH playing together sit back and hold and rarely venture forward. Chappers adds a really nice balance to the midfield by looking regularly to get forward beyond the strikers. This allows the other player (DH) to sit in front of the back four and relinquish the need to get forward. We look stonger defensively and more potent moving foward as a result. I really rate MS and on saturday he started to play some really decent passes into the channels but in truth he doesnt yet fit into our side positionally. He is still young but for me in a 4-4-2 system he is a bit of a spare part. I think he will develop as he gets older but needs to find a position that suits him.

of all the ridiculous to55ers we have on this forum i vote you as my personal number 1. -
Dennis Wise - I was in a restaurant in Fulham a few years back on a table of a round 18 people (mostly saints fans). dennis and his current squeeze finished eating and was on his way out. as he walk passed our table i put out my hand and called out wisey. as he put his hand out i put my thumbr to my nose and shouted "ahhhhhhhhhhhh southampton reject." the whole table pi ssed themselves laughing at wisey. Oh my work after a number of expletives aimed i my direction i was invited to step outside to discuss further which was greeted with more laughter at our friend dennis. He left the restaurant in a hell of a mood. it still makes our group of lads smile even now.

deal with it. His dad is already trawling around the training acadamies of the top clubs in England looking at the best options for his son. He dad is not particularly discreet as to who he talks to abotu his plans for his son. If he gets his way AOC will get a move in January to a top 4 club with a view to loaning him back to soton. That came from the horses mouth (well his dads anyway).
-
Not much of a suprise but Im hearing Guly will not have his loan extended. unless of course NC overules Adkins.
-
If fonte does go to newcastle it will certainly put to bed the rumours that he had a fight with pardew over him continuosly flirting with jose bird.
-
Slightly Harsh IMO.
-
You are right about too many players not performing but if you look back at the whole season they werent perfroming under either pardew and / or wilkins and arguable worse. So what the problem is I dont know but lambert, hammond, morgan and harding in particular have lacked form for most of the season. I think we will see changes in jan / the summer as adkins ships out players he doesnt fancy and replaces. For me thats when adkins should be judged.
-
Unlikely but I would take a straight swap for austin.
-
I cant say I have ever dealt with the bloke but im sure he hands the correct number of tickets over the counter when asked particularly efficiently and am sure you would also get a polite enjoy the game on good days. I have however dealt with the brown haired girl who serves beer in the itchin stand and am pleased to confirm she is an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you
