The difference between Southampton and Brighton...
wild-saint replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Amazing isnt it. Brighton lose and there is no sign of the Shyte covered Penis BHA around. One more defeat and im sure he will start claiming he is actually a Manure fan again. -

They also have a fans forum that doesnt crash automatically from 90 minutes before kick off until 5 minutes after. I guess we are league one and have a league one forum. -
Well if they held the game at 3pm on a saturday then at least most people on here Would be free to play.

I think thats a reasonable answer. Can you imagine NC or NA accepting any other answer from a similar question? Set a standard and aim for it.

so lets get this straight, you are starting a thread attacking the leadership of the club because they havent stated that they will have season tickets next season? am i missing something here, are you for real?

The Cortese Tax - OFT probe into firms 'profiting from plastic'
wild-saint replied to dune's topic in The Saints
whether we like it or not there is going to be cost incurred to saints for allowing people to book tickets (staff, post, processing etc) and they as a business are entitled to make money on it. the fact is they are offering a servicde that allows you to avoid that cost if you want to. why do people get so hung up on it whether its optional or included within the overall price. -
and there seems to be another 6 or 7 threads dedicated to shyte players that never really did much for saints in thier limited time here. Could we not just have one thread (that we can avoid) and maybe title it .. Shyte players that used to play for saints briefly

another pointless thread

how many points have been cost by defenders making defenders in comparison or losst points from forwards not taking thier chances? I think in reality we have a keeper of a decent standard for the league we are in. Admittedly he isnt one of our star players but then id prefer our stars to be in attacking positons. IMO we arent going to get a keeper of a much better standards unless we spend big bucks and then we have the problem of wanting to drop to our level. Im not sure we are going to get a better keeper than Kelvin on a loan.

I cant quite get over how people can suddenly decide Bart is a better option than Kelvin. ive not seen lots of Bart admittedly but proabably not a lot less than anyone else who is making this call. Barts last two games he flapped a a cross in each game that ended up hitting a post / cross bar which he was extremely luckiy didnt end up in a goal being conceded. I thought he was very average

The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
wild-saint replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
For all the ****** about Saints and the way it has been run over the years I tend not to offer much sympathy to be fair. He acts like he is some trade union leader FFS. No i don't know the real reasons for why he has been reused a season ticket but to be fair no else other than NC and NI if the truth be known. But one thing is for sure Childish / petulant action by saints or not NI has clearly said / done something that has irritated the Shyte out of NC. So for that reason say to NI FV(k you ane next time hold your tongue wee man. -
I am starting to think Arsenal should be putting a bid of £10million in for Lallana if they have any sense.
-
well no one has heard of him so he must be shyte and im sure everyone at SWFC are very underwhelmed. Anyone note the hint of sarcasm there? (not a dig at you by the way chez)

So please tell me your views on the two new signings, what are thier strengths / weaknesses, potential to develop etc. Have you seen either of these players play? what are the reasons for either of them not making it as nailed on first team players at thier current clubs? of thier obvious short comings as players that you have identified, please tell me why saints management & coachingstaff havent got the skills to make a positive change / difference? or as most on here suspect you have never heard of them and are basis your assesment on that alone

Gordon Watson rates him as player that has the ability to play at higher level than Leicester. However he thinks that he is massively affected by confidence (or lack of it). Apparently he was tasked by Leicester to do a report on Ryan Dickson but after being skinned by N'guessan about 5 times in 15 minutes he decided to report on N'Guessen instead. Sounds like a we have a player if hey can get his head right.

I think we should now lose every game this season. Lets face it there is no point being promoted to the premier league becasue we are never going to win it let alone come close. FFS

http://www.swindonweb.com/?m=133&s=1599&ss=1600&c=8842&t=Out+of+Town interesting if true that austin preferred saints but only ipswich would meet the required valuation

what are u basing your opinion on?

Why do people seem to think we have no chance of signing him? The only reported bid in is from Blackpool who I agree are a premier league side which woud be a major attraction. However think about it, they are possibly going to lose thier best player (adam) which will have a major effect on the side. they are only 6 points above the relegation spots. an injury or two and adam leaving could see them freefall. Austin would also be unlikely to get a starting spot so will play from the bench certainly until next season. They have a fairly well publicised wage structure which we can compete with. Charlie Adam as thier best player is reputedly on 10k per week and they wont pay him any more than that. what would they play young austin? 5k maybe? Austin is a young lad and it is big decision to move so far north away from friends and family. Would you really move to blackpool if you can get similar money at a club with plenty of ambition and potential? Now looking at Saints we can offer decent money, we have better facilities, we have a story to sell to him and we are close to home making it eaiser to settle. Finally he is going to get more games here whilst developing his talents. Im not saying we are nailed on to sign him but with a bit of vision its not to hard to see its a possibility. Imo fonte was a more unlikely signing based on his age and ability at the time. So sure we probably wont get him but all these glib comments asking for the thread to be closed and mocking people for being stupid are a little harsh. This is a forum designed for people to discuss a common interest and maybe find a little entertainment. FFS

Thats true. all staff have been warned about confidentiality and i know of at least one person who has fallen foul of this stand. theres plenty of gossip from people close but it seems nailed on info is closely guarded. its a shame as in previous regimes information was free flowing.
