  1. I took my boy t0 his first gameaged 5 to the Sheffield Untied game on the last day of the season. 5 goals, 1 red card and he went on th pitch after. He is now a season ticket holder aged 8 and know lots of the songs. Oh I took him to his first away game the other week Charlton Away. Might i say than you to the guy sat behind him who seemed tobe starting lots of songs for letting him know the full words to the lallana song. He said to me during the game "Dad I thought it goes Adam Lallana makes Messi look rubbish!" Oh well lets hope he doesnt tell his mum.
  2. so guys whats the decision? is he a great signing and we give hi at least 12 games to show his true class or do we not really know and just in case he is dog poo we boo him to the point of his confidence being shattered the first time he has a bad first touch or stray pass?? i need to know which way we are going here?
  3. I know for an absolute Fact / 100% confirmed that Howard wasnt being scounted in the last few weeks. i dont know whether we spoke to reading or not though. I also know nothing about stephens whether he was scouted or not as i never asked bearing in mind it came out of the blue when i spoke to my contact on saturday
  4. i find most women are poor at navigating so dont get to cut up about it sweet heart!
  5. you see to know a lot about this kid, have you seen him play more than once to base you comments? Whays he like?
  6. Tick Tock!!!! Whats the betting we dont get anyone in and we see a saints article about how lallana and oxo will be back in training in the next few days. Then we will hear nothing more untill we find out neither is on the team sheet against MK Dons. This is saints we are talking about here!!
  7. N'Guessan for me could be ok. Yesterdays game when he came on he look like Ali Dia. His first touch was the worst Ive ever seen. His second third and fourth werent much better. To be fair he looks like a player with shattered confidence and is waiting for the crowd to get on his back. As the game wore on he looked better and I can see why we have brought him in if he is firing on all cylinders. However Im not sure he is what we need over a short period of time as he is definately a player that needs work to rebuild his confidence and im not sure we will see the best of him over 10 games.
  8. the guy sat down above the clock looks likw charlie the taxi drvier from eastenders.
  9. are you his agent or something as he seems to be clearly happy to blab on here about conversations you have had? Not that Im complaining mind!!
  10. not sure I agree with that. Nguessen has had enough game time to show signs that he has potential. IMO I have seen enough to make a judgement that he wont make a significant impact in our remaining games this year. from what i understand he is a confidence player and he clearly is running on empty. Who knows whether NA can get that back for him over a longer period of time but this season, no chance
  11. 10 to go and the pressure will start to really mount now. I think with around 5 games to go some teams will start to crack under the strain if they all continue winning. I guess its a question of who will hold their nerve. i think there could be a small fortune to be made selling SFC stress balls outside the grounds come april
  12. Am I on a Reading forum then as it seems like you are happy to print your knowledge as well lol. Im happy you are spilling the beans though.
  13. looking at all the fixtures of the top 6 teams, I wouldnt have had last nights set of fixtures as the games down as ones that they were likely to lose points. we wont win all our games and neither will they
  14. i remember this board going into melt down as we thought we were going to bid near on £2million for a 21 year old who only about 12-18months earlier was playing for poole town

Thes effinh harsh if you ask me.
  16. Ok great so now when NA signs someone we have never heard off there will be a massive wave of disappointment and comments that either a) saints wont spend the appropriate cash or b) NA doesnt have the gravitas to attract a face. Add to the fact that the fans will turn on him at home after 14 minutes of his debut and then boo him off. Clearly im talking about myself here and not all the other tolerant and realistic fans we have
  17. mad me laugh when the commentator said to him they dont look like cherries on his face but somethign else. Plums?
  18. excellent, however i suspects its not very accurate. According to this site we scored 3 goals but only had 2 x shots on target or am i reading it wrong
  19. This. I also think FR looks to get for foward a lot more than DB and looks to play the ball into feet (and sometimes doesnt come off) whereas DB generally plays the long ball foward. DB usually puts a nice cross in but is generally from deep , if opnly he got forward more and played thecross from nearer the byeline he would be dangerous.
  20. carlisle equaliser in injury time 3-3
  21. I now have this vision of lallana runing down the wing wearing a dog collar and holding large crucifix out in fromt of him.
  22. Agree with most of the above. I felt by adopting a norrow diamond we were forced to play through the middle. IMO we should have the talent against this sort of side to stretch the game by using the width available to us. Thier was acres of space on wither touchline that both our wide(ish) men and the full backs failed to take advantage of. Why do we need to adapat our tactics to match walsall when we should be good enough to dictate the play. Maybe we would leave ourselves slightly exposed at times through the middle but IMO we would have destroyed them out wide. Again seems to be a far more balanced discussion from those who witnessed the game than some who feel the need to lose thier heads in the post match overreaction thread. Anyway wasnt the best performance I have seen from saints away from home and I am as diappointed as most but Ive seen far worse and actually got more points (Ala Wycombe away last year) For the record N'geusson (Sp.) IMO is a fringe player at the very best. We have gone backwards since last season with the loss of Antonio and Papa and thier creatiivity is sorely missing this season particularly as an option off the bench when we are up against it.
  23. I really can't believe we didn't score tonight. so many chances. No width tonight with so much space out wide, now that's a crime. Chamberlain should have come on much earlier. **** poor finishing cost us dear tonight.
