Cue the brighton fans forum to go into a meltdown as they get thier knickers in a twist over our supposed arrogance yet again.

Yeah he has put in some decent crosses but they are always from a deep position. I prefer a fullback that has the pace and ability to get further forward beyond their full back or at least at put a cross in from further up the field which means the opposition defence have a harder job of defending the ball in. DB maybe a better defender but we are in league 1 its not as if we are coming up against giggs and ronaldo each week. Anyhow if i was boss Richardson would be first choice and those are my reasons. right or wrong is not really the question is it? just a case of a preference of ore attack minded team. The same reasons above are why I like Dickson at fullback on the left over Harding (but to be fair to Harding its a much tighter call as he is much better going forward.)

this +1 pace and decent going forward. he is a proper fullback that looks to over lap unlike DB who is stable and never ventures over the halfway line.

Why cant they just enjoy thier moment without getting wrapped up in whaqt saints fans, players and management say or do. looking at thier forums they all seem to have this hang up about saints. Brighton have no pressure / expectation on them to succeed. Thier players walk out on to the pitch with the freedom to perform. You watch Saints this season and you can see that the level of performance improves drastically once we score. Many a man crumbles under pressure and expectation. So it can be argued that other smaller teams are liekly to play with far more freedom.

I took my boy t0 his first gameaged 5 to the Sheffield Untied game on the last day of the season. 5 goals, 1 red card and he went on th pitch after. He is now a season ticket holder aged 8 and know lots of the songs. Oh I took him to his first away game the other week Charlton Away. Might i say than you to the guy sat behind him who seemed tobe starting lots of songs for letting him know the full words to the lallana song. I know for an absolute Fact / 100% confirmed that Howard wasnt being scounted in the last few weeks. i dont know whether we spoke to reading or not though. I also know nothing about stephens whether he was scouted or not as i never asked bearing in mind it came out of the blue when i spoke to my contact on saturday

N'Guessan for me could be ok. Yesterdays game when he came on he look like Ali Dia. His first touch was the worst Ive ever seen. His second third and fourth werent much better. To be fair he looks like a player with shattered confidence and is waiting for the crowd to get on his back. As the game wore on he looked better and I can see why we have brought him in if he is firing on all cylinders. However Im not sure he is what we need over a short period of time as he is definately a player that needs work to rebuild his confidence and im not sure we will see the best of him over 10 games.

not sure I agree with that. Nguessen has had enough game time to show signs that he has potential. IMO I have seen enough to make a judgement that he wont make a significant impact in our remaining games this year. from what i understand he is a confidence player and he clearly is running on empty. Who knows whether NA can get that back for him over a longer period of time but this season, no chance

10 to go and the pressure will start to really mount now. I think with around 5 games to go some teams will start to crack under the strain if they all continue winning. I guess its a question of who will hold their nerve. i think there could be a small fortune to be made selling SFC stress balls outside the grounds come april
